I truly hate to write a negative review, as I really enjoyed the food and the staff was friendly but I was shorted shrimp in my shrimp&grits order. I called at 8am to order a bowl of shrimp & grits, and was told my order would be ready in 10 mins. I arrived about 30 mins later and, after paying, was told they still had to get my order ready, which was strange. So I waited a few minutes, which was no problem. But when I received my order and made it to the car, I saw that I'd only been given 3 pieces of shrimp. I didn't really feel like going back in. But 3 pieces of shrimp for a whole bowl? I don't understand why I wasn't just informed that they didn't have enough shrimp when I called. The staff member checked to make sure they had shrimp when I was still on the phone, so I don't know what happened, unless my order was given to someone else . I payed an extra 2 dollars for what was basically just Gouda grits. I had the bowl before at the Brentwood location and know that more shrimp usually comes with this meal. Also, of note, the iPad felt like it hasn't been cleaned in days. That's very concerning considering everyone has to touch it to complete their purchase, and there's a whole pandemic going on. I'm very disappointed after driving 15 mins for this experience. This was my first time at this location and it was not a good...
Read moreI am in love with a crepe place in Cookeville, TN. Whenever I'm traveling by ground, I will route my trip to get through that town to get a hold of one of those crepes. To my delight, Wifey and I stumbled across a different place on our way through Nashville. Nashville and the Green Hills area are chocked full of eateries. This one, Peach's, was a tiny gamble even though the pics looked good and the reviews were promising. You see, our CSI, or Crepe Satisfaction Index is very high. We've been eating them all over the world. Some of the best I've had, i've been in Scotland and then in Belgium. The Cookeville place has hand-held crepes. This speeds up the devouring of their tasty options. This place has plated crepes and there are many to choose from. Ours were delicious! Perfectly prepared, and with a side of delicious crispy bacon, my simple ham and cheese crepes set a hook in my memory that will command my return. Wifey's Parisian crepe was also a smashing success. Fair pricing and a very warm and pleasant staff make this place a 5-star saved location for us. After our meal we snagged a couple of coffees for the final leg of our trip home. They did them right as well. Will probably slate a shopping trip to Green Hills after the holidays along with another crack at this...
Read more** If you look different from the others DONâT ORDER from The Peachâs! The manager or woman serving drinks will passive aggressively let you know that she doesnât want you there.
My wife and I stopped by this small cafe right after 10am and at the time they may have been serving about 2 other customers. While ordering I got a weird look from the manager but didnât pay it any attention. After 20 minutes passed by and the cafe was now full we started to get concerned about our meal because 2 other customers who came in after us received their meal and the manager who was handing out drinks ignored me twice while passing by on the floor. After asking about my order the first time (the cashier couldnât believe I didnât get my food yet) I continued to wait to observe what was going on and to give the benefit of doubt that there was a mixup but after seeing them bag another customers meal I requested my refund. The cashier said the tickets were in order so she didnât see why my food wasnât received yet but obviously while her back is turned for long periods of time tending to customers someone (LIKE the manager who continued to ignore me and gave me a weird look while ordering changed the tickets). It was obvious that my wife and I werenât wanted there by the manager so we took our...
