First, we love the food here.
Second, the service and atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired...
We have frequented the place since it opened and had some ok experiences and some not great ones from orders being entered wrong to servers being kind of rude and dismissive. Once while we were sitting at the bar, we had waited forever for second drinks, so we just grabbed someone, who turned out to be a manager. She was very helpful, but after that the BT ignored us for the rest of the visit, like she was mad. Wouldn't even look at us.
Last week we had a large party go in for my husband's birthday. We had called ahead and when we got there they said they didn't have the reservation, despite us having an email confirmation. It wasn't a huge deal, in that it wasn't very busy, and they were able to accommodate anyway... We had eight people in our party and not everyone got there right at the same time but it was pretty close. We let the server know we were waiting on one last person to arrive and he kind of forced us to order, saying she could order when she got there. Some folks ordered apps and some ordered food, we let the server know that those if us ordering apps would also be getting food after. When the last person in the party arrived, he immediately started pestering her to order. He didn't give her any time to review the menu. I assured her (in front of him) that my husband and I planned to order more food after our appetizer and not to feel rushed. She picked something anyway to get they server off her back. After the the initial order was delivered, my husband was soon delivered a birthday dessert (thank you) and the check. Despite the fact the place was practically empty and open for hours beyond, we were very rushed and never given the chance to actually order dinner. My husband essentially didn't even get to eat a meal on his birthday.
We like the DJ and the music but it is so freaking loud that we can't communicate with our servers, we do believe this may have impacted the situation. I don't understand why it has to be club level loud when you have less than 10 people in the whole restaurant.
We were so excited to share the lovely food experiences we've had there with our friends and we're hopeful that because we called ahead the service might be better than it normally was. Unfortunately that was not the case and our entire party shared the sentiment that they will not be returning.
Because we love the food, we will probably be back but likely won't bring people...
Read moreWe have been here multiple of times and always seem to have really good experience, especially since we sit at the bars. However this time we took my MIL, and it was honestly a very terrible experience.
Waited over 45 minutes for a table, after being told it was going to be a 30 minute wait. Okay, we understand especially since it’s a holiday weekend, people are away visiting family and not working, Black Friday, etc. but this time, it just kept getting worse and worse. But what I was irritated by the fact that over 60 empty chairs at tables, large groups being sat who “don’t have the full party.” When we’ve come before with a friend we were told had to wait due to the fact she was parking the vehicle and entire party wasn’t here. Inconsistencies.
Sat down, got our waters and ordered food. There was three of us, but only two appetizer plates brought to the table with no silverware or napkins. Then asked, “anything else can get for you?” Really? Okay, maybe didn’t realize this. Got these items, and typically when you order wings, you are asked what sauces would you like? Nope not this time. Asked for ranch. Then come to find out the aioli sauce was not on the appropriate food.
At this point, we’ve already started to dive into the food. A few pieces of chicken was added onto the nachos, like I’m talking very little and could barely tell it was on them. After being there for over an hour and 15 minutes, we only had our glasses refilled once. Asked the server the first time, forgot. 10 minutes went by and asked again, he brings out “one” glass. Manager walks by and asked her if she could do anything for us, and asked for water for the remaining few people.
This time was such an off visit. We love coming here but, maybe we will reconsider where to take friends/family when visiting and continue to...
Read moreDecided to give this place a try today (~2 PM on a Saturday) and we had high hopes… there isn’t many positive things I can say about our visit other than the boneless wings which were solid. Past that, it took way too long for any segment of the meal. Took 5-10 minutes to get water, took at least 20 min to get food and then it was rare to see our sever TJ. The table next to us (also with a newborn) actually had to ask for their bill before their food even came out and when it did the cheesesteak looked awful. I saw them look at each other and she took one bite and pushed it to the edge of the table. We had a salad and the chicken tacos. The tacos were mostly filling (salad) and lacked a sauce to bring it together. We also ordered a kids quesadilla which ended up coming out after all of our food. For parents out there trying to calm a 10 month old while eating in front of them, it’s not a fun task. Finally, when we were ready to leave we waited probably 10 minutes to see our server (TJ) and at that point asked for the bill which he brought over and we handed him our card immediately. He then took our card along with the other tables mentioned above and took 5-10 minutes to actually bring it back so we could leave. Ironically enough, he was waiting in the kitchen to get the other tables food so he could bring it out with their bill… this place is ROUGH and I do not recommend it to anyone else if you want decent food or decent service. On top of all of this, about 30 minutes after eating we both came down with some type of food poisoning. Stay away if you want...
