I love Waffle House and this is the worst one I've ever been too! Slow service, our waitress brought me a coffee when I didn't order one and when I told her that she goes "I guess I'll take it back." I also had to remind her to take it off the bill because she brought us the bill charging us for the coffee. The cook was so slow and they weren't busy. I ordered cheese n eggs, my eggs were dry like they sat in the skillet and there was barely any cheese mixed in... Not like I have ever had before. The hashbrowns were mushy. The cook had to remind several servers that their food was ready and waiting to be picked up. Our food all came out at different times and my toast was barley toasted, not warm and didn't have butter on it. When my husband got up to pay the bill he stood there for several minutes waiting for someone to check him out and with at least 6 people working no one came to help or even acknowledge him that they would help out in a minute and several of them saw him and passed by. We had cash thankfully and left the cash and ticket on...

But instead it was the same standard Waffle House menu, and that mismatch was jarring. The manager was loud, over the top, belting lyrics to the music like it was her personal show. If this were her own spot, with food crafted around that vibe, it would’ve made sense and maybe even been amazing. But inside a Waffle House, it just felt off.
And honestly, I hope they do get a joint specific to their vibe—I’d be first in line to check out what they could create if the food matched that personal passion. They deserve their own place. But as it stands, I won’t...
