Friendly's — Restaurant in Naugatuck

Absolutely my worst experience at a restaurant in my life. First, the place was freezing cold. I tend to overheat quite easily and I had to wear my coat the whole time and was still mildly uncomfortable. My son wore his coat and hat the whole time. A fellow customer requested the heat be turned up and was dismissed quite rudely. After pressing the issue the server said she would turn the heat up but I didn't notice if she did. Then, they served my son sour milk. I reported this and after about ten minutes was brought another cup of milk that was also sour. My server came to the table exactly three times, for drinks order, for food order, and to bring us the food. Not one smile (same server who was rude to the other customer). In order to get help with the milk I had to recruit a different server. The table kiosk has no guard on it so my kid purchased a game without me even knowing it, with about three taps. Not cool. The same awful server never put in our ice cream order, so we sat waiting for 15 minutes after finishing food because we couldn't get attention and nothing was brought. Finally the server Lisa who had helped with the milk noticed and at least got us checked out, as well as refunding us for the sour milk. However I had to ask for the refund, and was never even offered a comp. I wouldn't recommend this...

Same old problems as when I first moved here in 2005. There is a couple of servers that have been employed there since then but I don't see why. They are the slowest and most careless workers there! Yet the longest employed? Anyway this was my 7th time trying to eat there since 05 and sadly I got one of the slow servers i mentioned again. About 50 minutes to get a burger and side with only two other tables. Got my drink in a cup that had some sort of guck on the edges but I didn't feel like dealing with the lady since last time she treated me like a neusense when I pointed out a mistake on my order. This time I just added a water and thankfully that cup was clean. The burger was basically big-y store brand quality. The lettuce was not bad but not fresh either. Basically a dry burger that was cooked to well done even though I asked for medium. Fries were soggy. Also noticed quite a bit of garbage under my tablet which again is something I noticed in the past with this particular server. If I ever go back I'm walking out unless I see one of the younger servers there because the oldest one has obviously worked there too long and doesn't care or feel at risk for being fired. Basically a wasted spot that a new hire could have and probably help turn the place around. 5 out of 10 food, 5 out of 10 price for the quality, 2 out...

If I could give it a 0 I would. The wait is ridiculous . I ordered a bacon cheese burger with well done loaded fries . And got a cold dry cheese burger with way to much onion and old brown lettuce. My fries were barely even cooked and covered in watery cheese sauce I told my waitress and she kind just looked at me stupid lol . I had to wait 10 min for the waitress to bring me mayo which wasn't a big deal but due to all the other issues it got me even more upset. At one point all the waitresses were all standing at the ice cream station just talking for a good 5 min and some were sitting at a table across the way just talking about stuff that wasn't job appropriate... while at least 3 tables were waiting to be served or ready to leave . Again I'm not one to complain but each time we ordered something there was a long wait . . Drinks ..5 mins . To order our meal 15 then 25 mins to even get it . Then to order our ice cream it took a total of 10 min. All and all will never go to this one again ! Service sucked food was definitely the worse I've had from a friendly's. I feel bad for writing this but they need to fix...
