Greene's Pour House — Restaurant in Neenah

Stopped here a couple weeks ago there were 4 of us just looking for someplace to have just a light lunch we were told by a local that Greene's Pour House was good so we decided to try it and it was good. It was busy just after lunch hour but we only had to wait while they cleaned a table up before we were seated. The server than took our drink orders and while she got them we looked at the menu for some quick and light things to eat. We settled on cheese curds for the table and 2 of us got bowls of chili while the other 2 would split an order of queso and chips off the small appitizer menu. When are server returned with our drinks we gave her our order and in a very short time our cheese curds came followed by the chili and the queso and chips. What can I say other than it was all excellent the chili had a nice mix of meat and beans and everything else that goes in chili depending on who is making it. It was very tasty and had a bit of spice to it but not spicy hot I imagine you could put some hot sauce in it if you wanted that we didn't. The cheese curds were excellent deep fried perfectly and the coating was light but held together well making sure the cheese inside didn't leak out. Our companions said the queso had a nice spice to not overwhelming the tortilla chips could have been made in-house but we didn't ask but they were light and had good crunch. Overall a very good time our server and the bartender were friendly and helpful we all expect to come back again in the future and try some of there other items on the menu. Went there for mother's day brunch with my wife and was treated very poorly by the hostess at the bar with big glasses. While I proceeded to order she kept asking what? As if she could not hear, so being in the food service industry I give her the order I would if I worked back house kitchen, ....sliders well done blue cheese fries, ....repeated it a few times then was told if I had a problem or an attitude she wouldn't put my food order in, then stated as a matter of fact that I could just leave. During this my wife just walks out as a result of the hostesses demeanor and her poor service attitude. I asked that someone else take my order at this point, and while I was ordering with the "manager" she kept rudely interrupting us with her attitude, sarcastically repeating my order while I was in the middle of verbally doing so with the manager continuously talking over me. I was threatened to be kicked out for asking to put my order in with someone else and simply explains the situation as a result of poor service. I was told by 2 managers to just drop it or I wouldn't eat. No apologies no accommodation for the customer. Good job guys I've lived in neenah for 5 years and always have frequently spent money with you guys on holiday suck as the 4th fire works show, today such is mother's day, my birthday and my wife, my moms...you guys have always been a staple in my upbringing in the area and it is safe to say me and my family along with friends will NEVER SPEND ANOTHER HOLIDAY OR DOLLAR AT GREEN POUR HOUSE NEENAH! Honestly, I'm not picky about much but the service was AWFUL. My 3 friends and I went out to grab a drink and dinner. As we were getting settled in (I didn't know what I wanted to drink) so I told the waitress I would need just a moment. She comes back and I slightly hesitated and my boyfriend orders my drink for me. The waitress asks for my ID no biggie, I hand it over and she stared at it for a very long time and whipped it back at me as if she thought it had been fake and rolls her eyes. Fine. Once I get my beverage my friends and I are checking out the menu to see what to get, (this is not my first time I do have multiple friends who work here and I like to visit when I can and try new things.) she comes back a couple times to see if we were ready, each time more attitude ridden than the last. Eventually I saw her raising her hands up and asking another waitress to help us and the very nice girl with the Monroe piercing helped us out. We order and the Food was awesome! 10/10 eventually the other waitress came back asked the guys for more drinks and literally walks away from the table as I say my drink order. She came back just with theirs and drops them off as fast as possible while looking at my empty cup, I start to talk again. She whips around and walks away. Didn't order another drink because of it, stayed on the other side of the bar and talked to her co workers for the remainder of our visit and never came back. Also, I'm young and full of energy but mother of god the music is way too loud....
