Located in the basement of the mall area at Horseshoe Las Vegas, Johnny Rockets resides within the food court. Parking is available exclusively in the hotel garage. The restaurant boasts numerous seating options and emulates a traditional diner. We visited on 1/5/25.
The initial stages of our visit were pleasant as we placed our orders, but the atmosphere shifted when a staff member rapidly exited and strode towards the back. In the meantime, the manager, who was on a phone call, gave us a cursory glance before finalizing our order. It was noticeable that the staff member neglected to offer an apology, which seemed discourteous. Opting to dine in at the counter, we were taken aback to find our food prepared in bags and served on plastic plates, reminiscent of a take-out order.
The breakfast we had was comparable to a high school or military meal. The eggs were powdered, the sausage was dry, and the rest of the food was unremarkable, except for the pancakes. The pancakes were the standout item. We were moderately disappointed. The overall experience felt like a fast-food restaurant. We ordered the American Breakfast, which was priced around $49.72 for two people and included two orange juices. The price was high for the quality of food we received. Furthermore, we had to request our orange juice from the staff, who then pointed us in the direction of bottled orange juice, which was misleadingly advertised as a freshly squeezed beverage in a cup. We were just disappointed all around. There are bathrooms near the place which is a...
Read moreThis place is great! The food here is made when you order it. There is never anything cold (except the milkshakes!) or stale. This does mean that your food is extremely hot when you get it! Their burgers are excellent and the shakes are perfect. If you order any bacon burger, the bacon is also fried along with the burger patties. They have friendly employees that will work with you to accommodate any allergy or need that they can. They have the old bar style seating along the restaurant, but you can also choose to sit in the courtyard. There isn't table service in the courtyard, so you have to come to the counter to get your food. There is music available in the form of old school jukeboxes that you can select your music from where you are seated. The restaurant is very clean. The cooktop surfaces are well-kept and the employees wear gloves the entire time behond the counter. The prices are great for the quality and amount of food that you get. There is enough food to truly qualify as a meal. I will definitely come back here in the future if I am...
Read moreMassively overpriced ($15 for a bacon burger and plain grilled chicken sandwich with fries and $8 for a shake). I have been going to this establishment for years in Massachusetts and this is double the price. Cashier not friendly at all. Waited 20 minutes for my food and my beeper never vibrated to let me know the food was done. Aggravated I went up to ask and my food was sitting on the counter. I asked why my beeper never went off and they shrugged and said they haven’t been working. Seriously? So maybe you call out the number?!? Use your brain. I feel the fries and they are cold. For $42 freaking dollars and a 20 min wait I expect HOT food. I asked nicely for new fries even though I was seriously annoyed by this point. They get 3 stars because the food was yummy but the service and cost were...
