Yesterday June 7 th at around 5 pm my husband and I visited Stage Door . My husband has been going to this establishment for over 15 years and he calls it his “ pre game “ spot due to its affordable drinks and huge hot dogs . He wanted to take pictures to pay homage. It’s a part of Vegas history to him he usually tells all his friends and family about the bar. Well it went left, as he was taking the photos the security guard an Asian or Hispanic bald guy proceeded to tell him he can’t take pictures and has to move to the sidewalk . We agreed and went to the very end of the parking lot and I’m standing on the side walk he comes out again to stop the and said to move further back nearly in the street. I was horrified isn’t this just advertising for the business I asked . He was despondent and angry in his responses. After the botched attempt to leave a post praising the bar. We decided to go in , my husband told this security guy he was rude to his wife and I simply said I’m not sure why we are still going in ! I guess that set him off again because he shoves the license back in my husband’s hand a said he has the right to refuse service . What’?!!! Now my husband and I were dressed for a concert for later that evening but I can tell you I felt profiled. As a black couple please don’t always assume the worst the yankee baseball cap and chain and my boho braids are just fashion . I am a professional person and my husband is a former NYPD officer who now does Finance for one of the most prestigious law firms in the US . Collectively I have a Masters Degree and my husband is a St John’s alumni with his bachelors degree and combined our incomes are over 200,00 yet we were treated like stereotypes of what he assumed could possibly be a gang member or drug dealer or whatever. I just want to say do better Stage Door don’t always assume the worst in your customers . I will never return!!! Beware when you go here you’ll be judged before you even step foot in the door . I posted another couple who was not only allowed to film at the front door but was able to film inside this is the...

Rating: ★★★★★**
What a GEM! We’ve read about this place a while back and decided to go check it out. We were NOT disappointed! Everything was just as the great reviews said.
The Atmosphere This is quintessential old Vegas charm - a little hole-in-the-wall bar that feels like stepping back in time. Don’t let the modest exterior fool you; this place has character in spades. The intimate setting creates a cozy, neighborhood bar vibe that’s become increasingly rare on the Strip.
Security & Service The staff maintains a professional approach with security checks for weapons and ID at entry, but everyone is super nice once you’re inside. The friendly atmosphere makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door.
Drinks & Pricing Here’s where Stage Door really shines - the prices are unbeatable for Las Vegas: $5 Jack and Coke $5 Whiskey and Coke $1 Beers -*$2 Hotdogs
And this isn’t watered-down tourist trap liquor - you’re getting REAL, quality alcohol at these prices. In a city where drinks can easily cost $15-20 elsewhere, these prices are practically unheard of.
Gaming While it’s a small bar, they have gaming machines right at the bar where you can try your luck while sipping your affordable drinks. We both played the machines and had a great time, though we kept our expectations realistic.
The Verdict It’s really a great experience that captures authentic Vegas spirit. The combination of incredibly affordable drinks, friendly service, and genuine local atmosphere makes this place special. Don’t skip it if you’re looking for a break from the corporate casino scene!
Perfect for: Budget-conscious visitors, locals, anyone seeking authentic Vegas character Skip if: You prefer upscale casino environments or need extensive gaming options
Bottom Line:Stage Door Casino and Bar proves that sometimes the best Vegas experiences come in the smallest packages. Definitely...
Read moreI was drinking here for about 4 hours and then went for a 15 minute walk to get some fresh air. When I got back my car had been towed. I argue with the parking lot security and they don't care, they said "I left the property." I uber over to the tow place, which is about 12 minutes away. There were multiple people from stage door that were at this place picking up their car. It cost $430 cash to pick up my car that was towed 5 miles and they held onto it for less than 2 hours.
It is clear that stage door gets a cut from the towing company. How can a bar stay open on the strip in Vegas serving $1 beers? They do some illegal activities, such as this parking lot scam. I saw 4 people get towed in a very small time period. This has to be going on all day every day at $430 a pop. This tow company is making an absolute fortune and they definitely give stage door a cut as they are in constant communication with each other.
I have never left a review on yelp or any business or anything. I just really think this is a scam and people should know and the police should be notified about this.
They are going to say something about the signs. The sign says "parking for customers only." I was a customer all day and yes I left the property for a short amount of time, so you tow me? Make me pay $430? What kind of customer service is that? This place should be absolutely ashamed of the business that they do. I hope this place gets a big lawsuit against them, as they sure...
