Place has terrible customer service. Like honestly, horrible. It sucks because some items are good, but the service just really ruins it. The people here don't want to work and don't want to help you when you ask questions about the products. Very "low effort" type of service. Also, they start stacking chairs 1 hour before closing and stop making buñuelos 2 hours before. While I was there, 3 different people came in asking for buñuelos and they said they were gone. When I said I could wait for some, they said they simply weren't going to make them anymore. This is not the first time this happens. Last time I went, I called beforehand because I wanted to order tamales and they said I had to order it there. When I got there, I ordered it and they said they didn't have any available. When I said there's still 30 mins left till closing, they said they could give me the tamal cold and I could heat it up at home 🙄 That's ridiculous. I just got up and left. Terrible customer service, honestly don't want to ever come back. I tried giving them a chance several times, but honestly this is just ridiculous. The cuban lady and the old lady...
Read moreFirst and foremost not trying to sound stereotypical but if you don’t really know any Spanish it can be difficult to communicate with some of the staff. Someone like me who barely knows any Spanish I used a google translate and it helped a lot. Now to the review part. I got the churros Arequipe and the churros Guayana. Both of them were very good and had some nice filling inside. I would suggest going in the morning hours because one time I went in the afternoon and they had limited selection but also some of the pastries were dried out. It isn’t surprising as the pastries are baked fresh daily in the morning so as the day goes on from just sitting out in the case I can see why the filling was very dry. I went back to try In the morning the same pastries and they were 10x better since they were fresh. I definitely do suggest this place. I’m definitely going back again and again...

My wife and I drove down to Pasabocas for lunch. We each had the empanada de trigo, carne. I had a Coke and my wife had an iced mocha coffee. All were quite good.
For desert we shared a pan coco (sort of an airy bun with coconut on top) and a buńuelos ( basically a beignet without the powdered sugar). Each was light and not too sweet.
The bakery was neat and clean. Well lit and kind of a kick back place with couches, chairs and a few tables. Lots of games available if you just want to hang around.
The owner and employee, speak enough English to figure out what you want to order. They are cheerful and for non Spanish speakers, pointing at menu items seemed to...
