Uncle’s Tapas Bar and Grill (Filipino Cuisine Dancing Karaoke Bar Catering & Event) — Restaurant in Nevada

I am going to try to be as objective as possible. And I'm gonna try to be as little as biased as well.But I am very particular on the food and places I eat. First off the service was amazing.The manager and his son are very good people. Son just needs to have a little bit more practice and he would be and will be an amazing server. The manager is such a nice guy. He came to the table. I think twice and he does honestly. Remind me of an uncle or tio that will be an amazing person to talk to. In this case, service would be a 100%.

The atmosphere is nice and simple. It has a lot of room because I do karaoke and I believe dance on Friday nights. I came saturday early evening and it was calm for now , but i'm sure as the night goes it will get busier. The lighting is nice and simple and very Tranquil and a slight of colorful projectors. I will definitely give the atmosphere 85 or 95%.

And now for the food. This is where I will try not to be biased. But it's going to be hard for me. Because I had high expectations thinking that this would be a Tapas restaurant. This was actually my first time going to Uncle's Tapas. When I think of tapas , I think about a restaurant that used to exist called barcelona that was In Southern Highlands or also a restaurant called Firefly. Don't get me wrong.The filipino food was great. I don't have any problems with filipino food either. However, I am particular on where I eat or order my Filipino food. The food was not bad at all, but the beef steak Tagalog, lumpias, chicken on a stick and fried rice were interesting. So my uncle married a filipino lady. Tia luz would cook the exact same food and it tasted so much better. The beef steak had an interesting texture, lumpias were ok, fried rice was just a little dry, and the chicken on a stick was ok. Here's the thing I would actually go back and eat here again. Now this is where the biased is. I think I just like my aunt's cooking better. And that is bad because nothing compares to my aunt's cooking. The only reason I gave the food A 3 star is because every time I eat Filipino. food and expect the same standard and taste as my aunt would have. Uncle's Tapas Bar & Grill/Restaurant is a new karaoke spot in Henderson, NV. And we were referred by a well-known KJ/DJ in the Las Vegas area to come and sing there. When we arrived the venue's greeter told us immediately after we entered "they have no more tables." And kicked us out, but then they allowed other filipino and hispanic people in after us. I looked through the restaurants floor to ceiling windows and saw nothing but mostly Filipinos, a few caucasians and hispanic people. But NO black people. So myself and my bride proceeded to get in our vehicle and leave. We called our friend that invited us to come, and she said to ask for a person that was already inside the restaurant. So my bride did, and a person had us sit at their table. Then after we sat down the same greeter that kicked us out earlier came to confront my bride asking her how we got in and did we know these people at the table. So after the person that was at the table cleared it up. The servers/waitress did not offer us water, a menu, nothing while we were sitting there, We put songs in to sing it took 2 hours for me to even sing. So, after I sang. Well..I DONT LIKE THIS PLACE because it will ended up for me to COME BACK..DINE AND SING Again😊❤️. I Simply loved this Bar and Restaurant. I loved the service, the foods and Atmosphere. Staffs are very friendly and accommodating as well the Management. I've been there for the first time as friend invited me for dinner and refer this place as they have Karaoke 🎤 They have an open microphone to sing every Wednesday. This place is good for friends and family gathering. I really enjoyed my first experienced and having fun singing with my friend. Here , you can order drinks too and price wise is very affordable.
