Had a horrible experience with Bootleggers over the weekend. Ordered several different items to go from them. When I got home I realized we were missing a house salad, not a big deal. I wasn’t even upset about it things happen. However I tried to call to see if I could just get the charge removed from order since I didn’t get the item I paid for. Tried calling for over 30 minutes and 8 different times, phone just kept ringing and no one answered. Twice it sounded like someone answered and immediately ended the call. They had no problem answering the phone to take my order, but can’t answer when I have an issue. So at this point I decided to go on the website and send a message thinking I might get a response that way, still haven’t heard anything back. So after going through all of this I decided to eat what food I actually received from them and of course it was cold by this point. For something that shouldn’t have been a big deal it definitely became one to me. This was the biggest waste of $70. I should have just gone with one of the other pizza places. Just a disappointment to have say I don’t recommend this place, because I’ve enjoyed their pizza in the past.
**we finally received a response via email and was told “sorry about your salad… they failed to reconcile the rest of the issue with our order: “Thank you for finally responding back, unfortunately it wasn’t just our salad that was missed. The fries we ordered we asked to not have pork added to them, as my wife cannot eat pork. Of course there was pork added to our loaded fries though. We failed to receive the sauce for our pasta that we asked to be put on the side. My daughter got just plain noodles with nothing to go with it. The mozzarella sticks we rock solid and cold and the pizza tasted okay because that was also cold. So the salad didn’t set the tone for our experience, it was all of the good and lack of communication after the fact.” This isn’t our first bad experience with Bootleggers, but it will...
Read moreWe are pretty regular visitors to bootleggers, usually go at least once a week but the past 3 times we have been it has been very disappointing. We used to go for date night mostly but then with the weather being nice and the great playground we have been taking our kids and the first few times it was great but the last few times we have had a bad experience, almost like kids are annoying to the wait staff. First bad experience was a day that it rained so the playground was closed and we had to sit inside, our waitress seemed very annoyed that we had 4 toddlers at our table. The second bad experience was last week, we invited our neighbors and told them how nice the playground was, we sat outside and we were eating and enjoying letting our kids play, apparently there was a large party waiting to sit down around 7pm and wanted our table so our waitress brought us our check without asking if we wanted it (we didn’t) and people were standing around our table and we felt like we were being pushed out so we paid and left. The next time was tonight, we were enjoying a slow dinner with our kids and letting them play, again our waitress brought the check without asking and my husband told her we weren’t ready to leave and ordered another beer she said “oh it’s fine” sounding annoyed so we paid after that but our kids were still enjoying the playground so I went to the bar and ordered more drinks. I don’t understand why a restaurant would have a nice playground and seem so annoyed by tables with children. The owner even came tonight and made me feel uncomfortable by taking the menu my baby was using to eat snacks off because we didn’t have plates yet. There are only a few restaurants in town with playgrounds and I just find this so disappointing that all the wait staff seems to be annoyed by kids. We definitely won’t be going back...
Read moreLast night's experience was HORRIBLE and UNACCEPTABLE! Our waitress (Thalia) had a terrible attitude, had ZERO personality, and wait skills were at level zero! We ordered 2 large pizzas, wings, salad, beverages, and an appetizer. Our son's wings were served 30 minutes or more before our pizza arrived, so he finished long before our pizza came out. We had to inquire with our waitress about how much longer it would be before receiving our pizza because we had our 2 young grandsons (3 and 6) with us who were hungry and starting to become impatient. She said, Oh, your pizzas are literally up next, wrong! We waited over an hour for our pizzas to be served! The manager came out trying to smooth things over for the waitress using the excuse that Friday and Saturdays are busy, which is true, but other patrons who had arrived after us and had more in their parties had ordered more pizza's received their's before us and finished and left as our pizza's arrived. She allowed the tea glasses to go unfilled, leaving his finished wings platter just littering the table along with other soiled dishes. Table had no silverware or condiments on table. My son took it upon himself to grab them off of the empty table behind us; otherwise, we wouldn't have had any!
My husband and I had been there before and had a great waitress, so we figured we would bring our family out to eat there because we enjoyed our visit the first time there!
If you want to lose business, continue hiring waitresses/waiters like Thalia! We have never experienced a waitress or waiter anywhere as horrible as her! She lost out on...
