My shopping experiences at Chloe Rose have always been excellent. 10/10 for service, clothing selection, and the great brands they carry. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2021, and since then I’ve spent over $4,000 across 21 visits on average. That’s a testament to the loyalty, trust, and appreciation I’ve had for this store.
Today, I visited to celebrate their 11th anniversary, where customers could receive a complimentary matcha and/or flower bouquet with purchase. The staff was, as always, friendly and helpful, and the clothing selection was wonderful.
That said, I’d like to share a few observations from this visit. Clothes displayed outside on the sales rack were not allowed to be tried on inside the dressing rooms. I was told the only option was to try them on over my clothes outside, which did not feel like the same high-quality experience I’ve always associated with Chloe Rose. When I returned later during a slower time, I was able to try on both sale rack and regular-priced items inside a private dressing room, but I believe all clothing whether full price, discounted, or displayed outside should be eligible to try-on inside the dressing rooms so customers can make confident purchases.
Additionally, when I purchased from the sales rack, I was given a "thank you" plastic bag instead of the Chloe Rose kraft bag with their branded sticker. As a loyal customer, it made me feel “less than” compared to a full-price shopper. A consistent brand experience, regardless of purchase type, would go a long way.
Finally, I presented a $5 off coupon from my rewards during checkout, and was told I couldn’t apply it because it would be “doubling up” on discounts. While I understand store policies, it was disappointing in this case as a loyal customer.
Overall, I still had a good shopping experience, and I want to recognize the team for always being so helpful and stylish. However, I do hope future policies and customer experiences can be more consistent across all purchase types, so that whether shopping sale or full-price, every customer feels equally valued.
I continue to recommend Chloe Rose for special occasion shopping and fashionable finds, and I look forward to more great experiences...
Read moreRave to the blonde girl named Darby!! She was so sweet and helped me out when I was trying to find a blouse for my college senior pictures, she asked all the right questions about what I was looking for and gave results!! Could not recommend asking for her more! She is a gem!
The bad: found a shirt, went to the register and waited for a solid ~5 minutes for someone to show up, and when they did they helped someone with their broken jewelry, (which is fine) but then when they asked if I needed anything I said I wanted to check out and they took my shirt that came from the sale rack without a tag and had to take pictures of it and send it to someone & told me “I have to wait for a price on this”. This lead to an increasingly long wait time. There was 4-5 people in line behind me. The cashier was just not very good at handling a fast-paced job, it seemed. I think it’s so odd that they have to message someone a picture of a shirt to get a price, is there not a manager on duty that can figure this out? The cashier had red/auburn curly hair, and had a bit of an attitude when I just let her know where I found the shirt.
The stores rush ended before I went to the register but I still probably waited in line for 10 minutes, just waiting on a text message for a made up price. I just ended up leaving empty handed since the cashier just...
Read moreHave shopped at this store for years. Probably have over 50 plus items from the store and I have never had an issue with them until today. I bought a dress on Saturday that I brought back today to return. katie the manager and I talked about the dress and I told her exactly why I was bringing the item back 3 days later and she expressed that was completely fine and I could return the item. I stated I wanted to shop around and find another item because I love the store so much. Then as I’m shopping she comes over to me and almost screams that I couldn’t return the item and that she couldn’t do anything about the situation at hand and that it smelled like it had been worn in front of everyone in the store completely putting me in a stand still as I was so embarrassed. Knowing I never even wore the dress it took me back and I didn’t even know what to say. Not only did she embarrass me but now I don’t feel that they are honest employees considering she stated I could return the item then turns around and says I couldn’t. Will absolutely never shop at this boutique ever again. Now I understand why people in town say it’s to overpriced and if you aren’t a size 2 the girls don’t help you and why the two other stores...
