I normally love Edo, but the quality has really gone downhill in the past year. I've always been a supporter of this place ever since they opened their new shop; the top Google pictures from when they opened are ones I added.

This Friday the quality was horrible. I gave clear instructions when ordering pickup that the girl repeated back to me. I was overcharged, which they undid when I asked for my receipt that they didn't give me. The salmon looked like it had gone bad; no sushi grade salmon I've ever seen has red spots, see the photos for that.

My girlfriend's udon was ordered without green onions, which they ignored. She had to pick them off one by one because she's allergic. The noodles looked like a gel that had coagulated into one chunk by the time we picked it up. I specified not to make her salmon roll with the seaweed on the outside as they do when you order it with the udon combo, and the girl told me they wouldn't and repeated the order back to me. They ignored that too.

I ordered the wings, which I've gotten in the past and really enjoyed. These look disgusting. See the pictures; they're soggy and are missing the sauce they were ordered with. They're small, cold, and clearly overdone. We waited 35 minutes for these and paid $11 for something I wouldn't pay $5 for. If you're going to order wings from an Asian cuisine shop in New Brunswick, go to KBG. You'd get hotter, larger, quality wings for less money.

I ordered a salmon avocado roll for my father and was told it would be $4.50, which is already a lot. When I paid I wasn't given a receipt or even asked if I wanted one. I thought the price was a bit high, so I asked for it printed and found they charged me $5.50 for the roll. I asked the overcharge and they gave me my dollar back. I'd advise you check your receipts if you decide to go here.

My girlfriend and I used to go to Edo as a weekly ritual, but the past few times have been disappointing. This is probably the last time we visit.

TL;DR: Bad wings, bad noodles, bad salmon. Overpriced, overcooked, overcharged. Completely...

I just ordered the sushi for our dinner tonight , but I feel disappointed for all the stuff I ordered. I ordered Dragon roll , eel roll and fat cup ,spam musubi ..... I cannot even tell which one is dragon roll when I opened the box , I was wondering if there is something missing ? Since the dragon roll and eel roll are almost the same , dragon roll just a little bit eels on the top of the roll and veggies inside.... and the eel roll just little eel inside the roll ( at least for my understanding here, not sure if I am telling it right ).... worst of all , the rice is hard .This the worst ever dragon roll and eel roll I have take . The spam of the musubi is pretty dry, as I mentioned there , the rice is pretty hard which ruin it at all . And the fat cup ... I choose the teriyaki sauce, but it taste weird , anyway way , the chicken there is good and the taste is strange . I haven’t been this place for a while , as for now , all my good memories gone , hope the store pay attention to their food quality and do some...

Ramen is like a 1-star. First of all, it comes in a styrofoam cup. I was expecting at least a bowl. I was really confused because the reviews on Google Maps showed pictures of ramen bowls and plates that looked much better.

I got the original tonkotsu, and there literally was only 1 piece of pork belly. The noodles were also two soft like they had been sitting in boiling water for a long time. This ramen tasted like instant noodles done bad. Also they used a seafood broth with fish cake/crab stick, which I didn't like.

So I decided to give this place another try. I got the mango Bing-Soo. It was pretty good but the shaved ice was a little hard and crunchy (didn't melt in your mouth as fast). The scoops of green tea ice cream was a nice touch but then they add fruity pebbles to it which was kinda weird. Also the mango chunks weren't as soft as I expected.

Last thing, the Capiscola tasted just like Sprite + candy water.

Overall, just get the Bing-Soo here. It's enough to share for 3...

Sugoi! It was my first time trying udon in America and I must say Edo took it away spectacularly. I had the chicken udon and my friend had the shrimp tempura udon. Both had amazing flavors as well as a good think udon noodle. The chicken was soft and cooked and was well seasoned. Place itself was cozy and welcoming but inside seating was limited as expected. It would be fine in warmer months but during the winter it is terrible to have to sit outside. Yet the orders come fast and people are always moving in and out resulting in a lively atmosphere. Their music was appropriate to the asian setting (kpop). Would definitely go there again!

Not my first time at Edo Takeout, but first time leaving a review. The quality has been consistent every time, which is always a great sign. This visit, I got the protein bowl – super fresh fish, perfectly cooked rice, and overall great quality for the price. My only wish is that they included a bit more sauce. I also tried the miso ramen (ate it too fast for a photo). Asked for it a little spicy and they got it just right. Simple but satisfying. I opted for the sushi roll add-on. It was fresh, but had more rice than fish. I probably wouldn’t order that again.
