So before we get into anything I will say if you want to feel safe wile dinning this place does an amazing job. The have a two tier entry system and will take your temp and offer hand sanitizer. So from that stand point this place really has it together. When you dine in here you can order from Barca and also the Mediterranean place next door. I ordered off both menus as they have a lot of small portion options for people who love to sample. The food itself was great. I loved the empanadas and mini sandwiches.
Legit the only reason I didn't just top them off with a 5 here is the situation I had to deal with. Now when you are done with a meal and happen to be with people who you haven't seen in a bit sometimes the conversation goes long. This can be a pain because you may have other people waiting to be seated and a slow rotation means less money for the people serving you. Normally when this happens someone will come up and ask you to move to the bar area or maybe a different section and it is very rarely ever a big deal.
In my case the waitress came by and snagged the pitcher and a drink a buddy had been finishing off. We took this as a cue and decided we would leave after we finished up our conversation. Not even 5 minutes later a guy starts spraying down the table on top of us. I stop the busser who is currently spraying down my spouse's hands and tell him he should at lest wait till we are out of the table. Then the "manager" appears out of thin air to ask if we would mind moving. Now if they had flipped the order of operations there I would have been quite pleased to do so, and we would have just shifted to a high table near the back or something. But I have never in my time in the service industry nor as a patron ever seen customers have someone spray them with cleaning products. I pointed this out as well as the 30 minutes we went before we even got menus. Something I just figured could be due to a smaller workforce. Originally we didn't make it a big deal and just signaled someone over to us because the best thing to be now is patience and understanding. But that goes away mighty quick when someone sprays your spouse with cleaning products.
The manager then proceeded to, politely, try to battle me on all accusations, and even going as far to check with his staff just to confirm what I had told him. Ultimately saying "you don't need to leave we would like you to stay, we just need the table." Which was reasonable but who the hell would be in the mood to give more money to a place that came at you with hostility instead of hospitality. It is a real shame because I really enjoyed this place up until that point, and would have like to go back.
My suggestion would be to go and enjoy some outside dinning at a place that has good polices for covid-19 safety, and good food; But the rash on my girl's arm was enough for me to write this place...

Their drinks are phenomenal at great prices. I have tried many things on their menu as well as all of their $3.30 mini sandwiches. No complaints

Read moreI used to enjoy Barca but the service has gone fairly downhill during the summer. For example: two weeks ago I asked if I could order from a table instead of the bar and was assured a waiter would come by for my order. 15 minutes later, nobody came and I had to move to the actual bar. Food is OK but overpriced. The main attraction is the drinks, but they often run out of wines listed on their menu. No bartender should serve flat prosecco/ sparkling wine, but it's happened quite a few times over the past few months (more often than not). I don't plan on going to...
