Thomas Sweet Ice Cream — Restaurant in New Brunswick

I am a little late with my post but I have to write a review due to the irresponsibility of the students working during the summer. I went in with my daughter I ordered 2 shakes. My shake was a plain strawberry and my daughter had a plain chocolate chip ice cream. Apparently as they were preparing my shake and having conversations amongst each other (which by the way there were about 4 ladies and a male standing around.) They were so entertain in their personal conversations they would pause & chat and continue to do their job. Well we finally got our shakes drove away and when I was in the car my shake did not taste like strawberry it tasted a mixture of chocolate chip mixed w/ strawberry. When I opened the lid it was mixed with my daughters ice cream shake. Which only means they did not clean the supplies before beginning the other shake! I contacted the location and spoke to a young lady in regards to this issue and I mentioned what if I had allergies. She had the nerve to respond well do you? I said, I don't but my daughter does have peanuts allergies. If I would off ordered something containing peanuts and she drank it and got an allergic reaction you will be accountable. They don't understand the severity of an allergic reaction that would off been caused by their immature incompetent job! I...

I visited Thomas sweet on Thursday 06.06.24 at 10:20 pm and was extremely disappointed with the level of customer service. Upon arrival, my companions and I were met with a concerning lack of professionalism.

Three female employees were at the front, while a male employee was at the back. Despite making eye contact, one of the female employees walked away without acknowledging us, and the other two completely ignored our presence. This left us feeling unwelcome and neglected.

After having to ask for assistance twice, one of the employees finally helped us, but her demeanor was rude and unhelpful. This further added to our dissatisfaction. Upon leaving, we noticed all the employees staring at us and talking amongst themselves, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional.

This experience has left me questioning the training and management of the staff at this location. Customer service is a critical aspect of any business, and such behavior can severely impact the reputation and success of the establishment. I hope that the management will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving the quality of service provided.

I've been here three times and can confirm- great ice cream shop in what feels like an ice cream dessert. I have developed a new allergy and now have to eat vegan ice cream, and they have excellent vegan options as well. They are able to accommodate toppings on the vegan ice cream, which is great because i still want my sprinkles, ya know? The portions are generous and their waffle cone is delicious. I once got a cup of whipped cream for my dog and even that was huge!!! Staff is friendly and accommodating, understands their menu and willing to go above and beyond for what you want/need.
