Great place to study, located right on college ave. Only thing is that sometimes people come in and play really loud videos on their phones and sleep, which can be distracting and disturb anyone who goes there to study.. also, there’s sometimes customer service representatives who talk very loud and laugh, giggle and chatter during their shifts, that’s fine but if I can hear people laughing and I’m all the way at the end of the upstairs room, that’s being a bit excessive on the noise level, ladies! they have a cafe downstairs with coffees and drinks and snacks and sandwiches.
The bathrooms, at least the women’s bathrooms, are semi-clean. They don’t clean them often, from what I can tell; it seems like every time I go in there there’s toilet paper in the room, unflushed toilets and once I saw some menstrual blood on one of the seats.
They offer free WiFi, the speed is suitable for normal computer usage.
They have a huge selection of Rutgers apparel, but it’s very expensive.. $70 for a pair of red leggings with the Rutgers logo, way too expensive for some people. However, the quality is very nice, everything is Champion or just a very thick, nice fabric.
Overall, it’s a great place to hang around and study, just be mindful of people who use this space to study and courteous to everyone who...
Read moreUnreasonable prices. It seems like they try to justify a %150 markup just for convenience -- and it's not even that convenient, with long lines and low stock of popular items. In short, it's a very disorganized business. I was trying to exchange a clicker that I had bought the day before, and when I went downstairs to the textbook area where I bought the clicker, they directed me upstairs to the main cashier, where I waited in a line stretching to right before the escalators. Upon meeting the main cashiers, they redirected me downstairs back to the textbook area where I now had to wait again. When I met the textbook employees, they then told me that I could not do the exchange because they don't sell the clicker that I wanted to exchange my current clicker for...but the clicker I wanted was there the day before. Not to mention that the whole reason I was trying to exchange this clicker is because the employees the day before did not explain to me that it did not come with a subscription even though I showed them my syllabus and ISBNs and everything. Seems like employees aren't trained thoroughly enough. ...

Why tf are the employees not allowed to tell the clients how many regalias are available in store? Do you think, the students have SO MUCH TIME that they can afford to drive all over New Jersey in search of regalias for graduation? Also, isn't it ILLEGAL to try & keep the prices up due to whether or not there's a shortage? It seems Rutgers can't keep itself out of controversies. And going forward, you need to work on making regalias available for rent, because not many people want to (or have $150) spend lots of money on something that will most likely be worn ONCE. For a place that seemingly preaches about how much it cares about its students, your actions surely aren't synced up with your words - as your greed is...
