I have been a long-time critic of harvest Moon, but recently it has been getting better. The beers and food used to be so conservative on your palate they would never offend, but also would never please. "Safe" food like this is my absolutely least favorite - I would rather have something that pushed the envelope that I didn't like than paying for something that is bland and uninspired. All that said, on 3 trips over the last 6 months things have been getting better. The beers have been enjoyable - most recently I had the scotchy scotch ale and really enjoyed it. I'm not going to get a growler of it, but it was fun to try. My wife often orders the fajita salad and she commented it was much better than previous, and I liked the small taste I took of her blackened chicken. The children's meal is always a good value - see picture for childrens' cheese pizza. I had the barbecue chicken sandwich and unfortunately it reminded me of what this restaurant used to be like. None of the tastes really came through, and the chicken fillet was flavorless and cut so thin it was dry. It was so thin I don't know how it could have been cooked so it didn't turn out dry... After tasting it I asked for additional barbecue sauce, and even with that smothering the sandwich it was still bland. The chips were mediocre - decent crisp but generally unseasoned. I rarely send food back, but would have on this occasion were the children in our party not getting antsy and badly needing a change of scenery. With recent improvements I'm tempted to give this place four stars, but due to my chicken sandwich experience I'm sticking to three. Service has always been good, and facilities are clean.

I hate doing this but I hate not being honest. The vibe was interesting, it was a very small place and they tried to squish people in. Its really cute inside and the decor is very quaint and pretty. As for the food and beer. The list of food was excellent however the taste wasn't as delectable as expected. The beer was flat. There was no head/foam to my draft beer and when I asked the waitress why. She really didn't have a good answer. I'd like to say it was just my beer, the honey blonde, but it was the same for the cider beer as well, which came in a can. That was also flat or "skunked". I wasn't impressed with the taste either. As for the food. We ordered the moon nachos and the adult cheese or courds. We laughed at how tiny they actually were and how little the amount of nachos we received. It definitely isn't enough for 4 people maybe still not enough for two. The soup and salad was a decent size portion but when I started sipping or shall I say, chewing on my tomato and basil soup, I realized it was more of a chicken w tomato paste. It was alright, I wasn't wowed and for an hour drive. I won't be returning. I'm sure there's better options. Again the atmosphere was cool. Had a good vibe ish, the wait staff was nice and kept asking if we needed anything. The prices were a bit high for small portions too. $144 for four people. Meh.

I cannot tell you enough how pleasantly surprised I was about this place. For a bar it offers everything, soup, coffee, drinks, small bites and a great choice of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. I fact I cannot recollect a single restaurant or bar in my last trip to the United States that gave you such a welcome choice of food and a lot of it was vegetarian. It’s located on George Street really nice part of New Brunswick where all the good restaurants are. Staff was friendly and kind you the portions can be large so order carefully if you don’t like wasting food. I was a bit disappointed with the beer I ordered as it did not feel like beer - or maybe it’s the beers I am used to. All I would say is if you ate in the New Brunswick area for whatever reason, they enough on their menu that you could eat here every day for the whole week and still be able to order something different every time and that’s saying something. Oh it was a weekend and they had live music - but it’s played on the street where they also have plenty of tables to seat. Unfortunately that live music part was hmm well let’s not talk about it….All in all a great place - go check it out if you are in the area. You will be glad you did…

If you're black don't bother going here. Was made to feel so unwelcome. Bartender ignored me for 10 minutes walked past me and ignored me when I called out to him, kept asking people at the other end of the bar if they needed anything, was performing housekeeping tasks on the bar, and purposefully ignored me. I saw another female bartender and told her that hes been ignoring me for 10 minutes. She said what do you want, I told her a dry martini. She goes to him and I guess notified him that I was waiting and then he comes up and sounds apologetic. Didn't say I didn't see you just said he was sorry. I said ok. He proceeds to go around the corner to make my "martini" and comes back with a shaker and pours it into the glass. There is a small fly floating around in my drink. Having already paid for it with cash I moved it out of the way and just tried to enjoy the drink I waited longer than I should have for. It was the worst tasting martini or drink I have ever had in my life. I did not finish and walked out. If your goal is to keep certain types of people from coming to your establishment just know that your strategy is effective. I will never patronize this place again. These same establishments say that they are hurting for business and needed help during COVID but they mistreat customers. I'm confused. They close off the street and set up seats outside with the help of New Brunswick but choose to make people...

The bartender / night manager on duty the evening of Sunday July 9th was extremely rude from the minute we sat down. She replied with mean sarcasm to every question we asked and totally ignored us the entire evening. I had to ask her to pay the bill and noticed that after she swiped my card at the register she walked to the other end of the bar and threw my credit card in the trash. I walked to the other side of the bar to confront her and asked "where is my credit card". She said with a snark, "I don't have it, your good to go". I told her she did have it and that I followed my card to this other end of the bar. She then pulled my card out of the trash and then said with a grin "is your name Steve?" She then handed me the card. The bill only said $13.90 and I said she undercharged us since we also ate food. She angrily said "read the itemized receipt !" I did that and I kept saying items were missing. She angrily kept saying "read the receipt".

We never had angry words with this female bartender, never complained about drinks, food, or service so don't understand why we were treated this rudely from the very moment we sat down.

I asked your greeter to see the manager and she said the bartender was the "night manager". I also explained to your greeter about my card being placed in the trash and the bartenders terrible attitude toward customers.

You picked the wrong person to represent...
