I'm going to give it a 2 simply because the Manager I spoke with sent a replacement order. Which as a manager myself, was the right thing to do. And he was kind. We ordered through door dash, but Dominos does the deliveries themselves. We got a "your driver is en route" message at 7:07. Our order said delivered at 7:27. My husband checked multiple times within minutes both before and after this. We waited about 5 more minutes after it said it was delivered to call the store. We called at 7:32 and the call lasted 4 minutes. During that time, the driver returned to the store. He returned from my delivery to the store within 8 minutes. That's normally an 8 minute drive without construction. There's no way he made it back to the store within 8 minutes of dropping our order off WITH construction. He did however know I had a cooler on my porch so idk. I find it odd to mention that but not the 4 cats that were on/by the cooler? Lol. They just redelivered the pizza. The receipt says it was ready at 7:50. He delivered at 8:07. Which means it took we'll say 13-17 minutes depending on when he left, to deliver it the second time. How does it take 13-17 minutes to get here but last time he was back at the store in 8 minutes? I suppose anything is possible but I'm not buying it. We did of course tip the second time as well since he made the delivery the manager resent. We requested the second time specifically for him to knock, which he did. First Domino's driver is not an great experience at all they went and Process our first order after telling us. The card did not go through. then.The first driver delivers the pizza and looks at the receipt and says oh it's not paid. First driver takes it back to the store. Then Second driver was able to deliver the second order and the second order was not done the right way we ask for NO SAUSAGE. Second pizza is got sausage on it. The Receipt specifically says NO SAUSAGE. And we had sausage on the pizza again., Now there is an 3 Domino's driver going to delivery third pizza., However I'm going to make sure that this one has no sausage. This is Ridiculous., this is NOT GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL., I never had this experience with Domino's Pizza. I have had domino's people In other places and never had had this much difficulties on an order Or even having my order mess up. Not once, NOT Twice, But this is very important to New Castle Domino's Pizza and it's staff. Read moreI no longer live in NC but regularly use Dominos where I live. I was happy while home for the holidays to find that Dominos is back! We ordered online as we usually do (I highly recommend it— you can “build your own pizza” and use coupons like $7.99 for a large 3-topping pizza and save your rewards like getting a free medium pizza for every six orders over $10).
I selected the curbside option and followed the instructions on my phone once I arrived. Although it was crowded (It was Friday night, after all), my pizzas were brought to me (in the rain) in no time! The drive through window is also an option. The employee was very friendly and cheerful.
The pizzas were all exactly as we ordered, including some half and halfs cut well. Pizzas were delicious! Dominos is cheaper than some other options in town and still has great pizza and service! Our next Friday pizza night when we’re in town will be from Dominos.
