Gennaro's Pizza Pasta — Restaurant in New Haven

It's sad to say ALMOST... But while renovating my kitchen at home. We got delivery about 5 times a week. We've eaten almost everything on the menu. Not disappointed about any one dish. Would order every single one again and have . Chicken & steak quesadillas AMAZING! COBB SALAD..... TO DIE FOR!!!! Pizza is exceptional too. Calzones are enough for numberous meals. I wanted to update my post. Recently Gennaro's updated there menu. As of August 2023 all the food items are the same. BUT every single price went up. Not just specific items. Every last price was increased. Some make sense. Some I think went a little to far. Foods still amazing. But I can no longer feed myself and my husband for around $20-$25. It's more like $30-$35. Which is kind of hurts. One of my many reasons for ordering delivery so often was there affordable prices for such large portions. Didn't lose a customer. Just lost a couple times of...

I flew from Atlanta to Yale New Haven Hospital for emergency surgery for a beloved family member. Thankfully, given the strict Covid protocols for visitors at the hospital, I found Gennaro’s Pizza across the street for incredible food and unexpected emotional support. I welcomed the reminder of being home in Connecticut and what that tastes like, after many years now living in Atlanta. Gennaro’s delivers the most amazing pizza, just like home should be. The owner went one step further. He graciously provided me with a place to sit and hot coffee to help keep me awake after many hours waiting for my family member to come out of surgery. I placed an order for pizza for my children I ordered 2hrs before closing they said my delivery was suppose to be at 10:08 my driver gets here and he forgot one of the pizzas and instead of him leaving the one he brought he says he has to go back and get it I called the store they told me I would have to wait til he finish his other deliveries then he will bring it back here it is now close to closing and my children still haven’t gotten there food and they keep telling me 5/10 minutes like at this point keep the food and...
