UPDATE.... The last few times I tried to eat here with friends, the wait staff told me, "The person who prepared the vegan dish was not here today," so I was not able to eat. Finally, on the 4th visit, they were honest with me and told me they would no longer be altering any dishes for me. It would have been kind to let me know the first time i went after they made this ridiculous decision. Instead, they let me sit and watch my family and friends eat 4 times. I do not understand this change in attitude and new found lack of customer service? But I will never be back. I am disgusted by restaurants that refuse to make the slightest alterations so that people with restrictions can eat along with their family!!! Anway, I take back all the nice things i said about them for the past 5 years and all the stars. If you happen to visit New Iberia and are a gluten-free vegan, you will be hungry. This is the most UNaccommadating town!! Drive to Lafayette, where you will actually have options.

This place is wonderful!!! I have a gluten allergy and they were very accommodating...and I am vegan..the first dish I ordered , as I was about to eat it they came out to stop me as the waiter found out it was not gluten free. Then they made up a dish for me that was not on the menu..the chef was worried it would not be "perfect". It was!!!! It was delicious!!! Hands down the best place I have eaten in town!!! I will come...

This is a crown jewel in New Iberia. It's been open for years but this is the first time I stopped in. I'm glad that I did. The food was phenomenal and made with love. For as old as it is the place was nicely updated and very clean. The smell when you walk in let's you know that you are in the right spot. Full flavor, friendly staff, and clean environment, what more can you ask for? I have a new found favorite, the food is exceptionally delicious!! Thank you! I gave this review a year ago or so and we visited today, the food is still fantastic. The Chef here is a genius, the food is flavourful and CONSISTENT! 09.15.23 1st visit after a recommendation from a new friend who knows his pho, which btw hit all the marks. I ordered a regular size and the bowl was big, so I asked if that was the regular size and the young lady said yes. When I looked at my check, I had been charged for the extra large, so maybe I got the extra large bowl?? Who knows. I finished all of it and didn’t make an issue of it. They were closing and honestly the Pho hit the spot so completely that I wasn’t up for making it a downer. I’ll be back and I’ll get some clarification. As an industry veteran, there are ways to approach things that work better for the long term relationship.
