Mr Gatti's Pizza — Restaurant in New Iberia

We are in new Iberia Work construction on US one of the guys on my crew was his birthday so we took him out to dinner. We got there at 7:10 PM for an all you can eat salad bar. It sure is funny they have to make it for you on a small saucer Not a dinner plate like most Salad bars do. All you can eat pasta yeah right basically season tomato sauce with a little bit of hamburger in it very bland. Took three bites slid it to the side. As far as the pizza goes, they had five pizzas on the buffet. They were a various mix of the pizzas that have been made throughout the afternoon and evening some of the The pizzas had like four different flavors of pizza on the same pizza most of the pizza. The sausage was dry. The pizza was hard warm at best and you could tell it has been on there for quite a while. I asked the manager if we could get a fresh combination pizza he explained to me that it was within a half hour of closing and company policy is no fresh pizzas Within a half hour of closing, I was wondering why there was nobody in the restaurant itself. Everybody was getting their pizza to go. I now understand why just a word of advice. If you’re looking for a pizza buffet, I would definitely go to Somewhere besides here and just so you know, we did ask a refund was not an option before we ever started eating the pizza they had on the buffet might’ve been good for a treat for your pet at home, but it definitely shouldn’t have been served to customers. I do not enjoy leaving negative reviews. People need to know this place is straight trash. Their staff is compromised of all teenagers. Customer service is pathetic on your so-called pasta all you can eat salad bar, but the person behind the counter has to make your salad on a saucer, not even a dinner plate never seen this before in my life. I can make you one promise you would stand a better chance of shaving a bad years balls than ever getting me to visit one year’s pizza locations. I don’t need that kind of aggravation in my life , going to your restaurant to eat dinner because I give money to a panhandler at a stoplight money switches hands. The money is gone and you get nothing in return and I asked the manager about paying for the drinks and the salad. and refunding the rest of our money for your tomato sauce with hamburger in it so cold pizza, pasta sauce, and your dry crusty ass pizza that snap a tooth off against company policy to refund. To start it was myself and 2 kids and my mother that went to eat. I had already eaten at home so my mom was buying the lunch for her and her grand babies. They would not allow me in to go sit and eat with them because I didn't want to pay 15$ to just sit and watch them eat. We then proceed to say well can we at least let the kids go play the games in the back. Still the answer was NO I still had to pay to basically enter all the way into the building! I'm sorry but this is ridiculous! I told them they could watch me to make sure I didn't eat! Still NO! So my mom had to get her money refunded after paying and after my son (10years old) had already went fix his drink. My daughter cried because she couldn't have her drink or go play the games (she is almost 4). So if you think your going and just sit to be with your family and you don't want to eat.....

I would give 5 stars because my kids love this place. Pizza is great!We always would go. I slowed down from going because I was accused of not paying like id just be at the bar with my kids stealing pizza. After saying nicely, after capped loudly...no mam I paid she still didn't believe me and had to call everyone from the back. I felt Terrible! I don't know if it was because I'm African American or because I'm plus sized. But she definitely had the wrong one.. there's ways to handle things. Pull me to side..ask for receipt...
