Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in New Orleans

I didn't like this Applebee's reason being: 1) when we entered there was no one there to greet us or said anything to us. We saw sofas there so I sat then a waiter came up to us and ask " r u guys ready" so we looked at each other in a disbelieve look, like is she for real.

2. the server was polite when she game to the table and she introduced herself to said she'll b our server for the night. She took our drinks order which took forever to come. Ik it's a full restaurant however the orders where simple lemonade which tasted like water and luckily they had sugar at the table.

3. she came back, took our order, the appetizer took forever to come which y'all could imagine also was the meal. She came back with the food, placed it at the table and walked away. She went by the workers station, leaned on the table and proceeded to talk to her fellow coworker. I had to waved to this young lady and said we have no utensils to eat with. She had to please herself as she continued talking to her coworker while our meal was getting cold. She went in the back and took quiet a minute to bring the utensils and btw there was no napkins on the table. We had to go to the bar and took some fr there. The guest sitting at the nearest table to us was having the same issue with her, food on the table but no utensils to eat with, such a shame.

4. we wanted our bill and that even took forever. This lady was missing fr the front of the restaurant for more than 20 mins b4 she resurfaced and we had to ask her again for the receipt. The food was ok, the broccoli was hard like they just took it out the pack and plate it.

Worst experience ever plus I asked her what do I get seeing that it's my bday and this girl started singing and saying there's nothing u get but that's a lie because my last bday I went to Applebee's in Metairie and I got a desert. I love baby back ribs so that's y I chose to go there plus it was late and we don't drive.

11NOV21 ~ Applebee's Grill & Bar is just the greatest! Thank you for recognizing & supporting America's Veterans! They even decorated for Veteran's Day! Today your food, service, and patriotism are unsurpassed! Our meals were tasty, well prepared, and hot. Our waitress was excellent! She was friendly, polite, helpful, efficient, and came by at all the rights times. Thank you Applebee's!

One Year Earlier...

Nothing really bad, hence three stars, more perplexed. Silverware: Do they not have enough silverware? Our waitress seated us but didn't give us any napkins or silverware. She then took our drink order and when she brought out drinks she still didn't bring out any silverware. I need the fork to fish out the lemon and I need the fork to squeeze the lemon using the fork as a splash guard. I asked for silverware and the waitress asked, "Do you need it right now?" Kind of a strange question. I said, "No, not right now," trying to polite. Another waitress brought out our meals and she didn't bring out any silverware or napkins. I asked her for some napkins and silverware. She responded with something to the effect, "They are running some now, I get you some as soon as it's ready." A little while later I flagged down out waitress and again asked for silverware. She said she'd check to see if it were ready. As we waited for our silverware I overheard two waitresses behind the bar talking about how you didn't have enough silverware. There were only six other occupied tables and all were singles or doubles. What happened to your silverware?!? Also, please serve salsa with the fajitas. Our food was okay, no...

Haven’t been to this location in a long time and tonight made me remember why. My friend and I called before going due to its being a weekend and the other Applebee’s was pack, the lady on the phone told us it’ll be a 15-20min wait. Fine it’ll take about that long to make it there. Once we arrived there was a family of 6 in front of us. They were told it was a wait of 15-20 minute but as soon as her friend walked in that notice who the manager(Curry) was that was sitting at the table he immediately sat them at a table within 1 minute. While my friend and I was still waiting to be seated another party of 2 walked in and waited for about 2-3 minutes before getting seated before us. Also not to mention the place is wasn’t that pack to have a 20 minute wait. At this point we got upset and started calling around. Well Curry noticed we were on the phone with another restaurant and said he didn’t want to loose out on us so he decided to give us a table that’s wasn’t cleaned properly. When we sat at the table no one came to greet us for about 5 minutes. Curry then came to our table and told us he had to move us to another table well even after moving to a different table no one STILL HAVE YET TO come to our table. After about 10 more minutes a waitress(Charm) came to the table to take our orders. We only ordered drinks cus at that point my appetite was gone and all I wanted was a drink to ease my day. Well even the drinks took 20 minutes or so to get. At that point I really had enough and we just decided to leave. Never again will I go to the...
