Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in New Orleans

Went to this Popeyes due to family member being in the ER... as per many people do for this location, I'm sure.

Anyway, I pulled up the window and was immediately greeted. The order was repeated back to me at the speaker AND window just to double confirm it was all correct. Workers said please & thank good. No attitude during my experience. "Have a good night" It was late at night when I order via drive thru.

Time frame: I pulled up it was about 8 cars in line from the window to where I was. After the 3 cars ordered in front of me, that took about 13 mins tops. Then From me ordering from the speaker to going to the window that was another 5 minutes. This is honestly the fastest Popeyes. Normally it's like a 1 hour car line wait This was my first visit. Thank You for working and working so fast!

Food: Food was so hot that I couldn't eat it in my car. Had to AC my chicken. Food was Hot and ready! I order a 10 piece tender with TWO Large Sides and a small meal. The spicy chicken was spicy and so good. Thank...

Had a big order placed by phone, needed it ready by 5:30, which may be the busiest time all day for Popeyes (all locations have cars lined up out into the street from about 5:15 til about 6:15. It wasn't quite ready on time, but they got me in, got it ready, and got me out. I had to park across the side street due to the drive thru line, but can't blame Popeyes for being busy. Had two 16 piece mixed meals, spicy and mild, and two 16 piece tenders, same way. They got all 12 sides correct, gave me a bag full of sauces and napkins, and plenty of biscuits. The staff I spoke to was also very friendly, especially considering how incredibly busy they were. Yes, its fast food, but I am rating accordingly. It was fresh, prompt enough considering how busy (ready about 5:45, ordered for 5:30), and actually delivered with a friendly attitude. I can't say the same for...

We tried the Claiborne location twice. First time my wife waited and waited for our blackened tenders to the point she asked what was taken so long for the order we paid for. After 20 minutes of waiting on our food they realized they forgot to put the blackened tenders on. Fast forward to today. Second time we thought maybe we would try them again. Maybe it was just an accident earlier. My wife ask for extra gravy on the mashed potatoes. Why she left without checking I’m not sure. She gets back to the children’s hospital and we realized not only had they not given us extra gravy on the family mash; they didn’t put any gravy. She is literally on her way back now to replace the mashed potatoes. Whoever is managing this place needs to pay closer attention to the evening shift. This will be our last visit.
