Good Bird — Restaurant in New Orleans

Every time I come here I HAVE to get the Larry Bird ⛹🏼‍♂️ sandwich. I know there are other great items on the menu because of how consistently busy and packed the place becomes at times, but i can not speak to other items on the menu because I seriously cannot get away from the Larry Bird Sandwich 😂🤷🏽‍♂️. When I am really hungry, I also order the Avocado Salad (which is delicious also)🥗 with 2 Izze drinks. All of it is not only fulfilling, but satisfying.

The wait staff is ALWAYS great and the atmosphere is intimate and chill. They are always so friendly, energetic, & down to earth. The owners are great also and really personable when engaging with customers. It makes the experience that much better when you meet great owners like that.

Don’t tell me the world is ending with food this good. Just stop. This place had it all, good sandos, salads, bevies, their own homemade seasoned potato chips, all kinds of bomb sauces and dressings, and it was super duper fresh, like garden in the back fresh. Like who’s your plug fresh? Like it took me back to a world pre pandemic. I seriously was sitting there like I had time traveled everything slapped so hard. I'm a big sandwich fan, so I was excited to try this place, but was not super impressed. I ordered the Larry Bird and Good Bird for takeout. Food was ready on time, but they had given me 2 Good Birds, no Larry Bird. Didn't realize the mistake until I got home so I was fine to accept the mistake, but then I found a chicken bone shard in my sandwich. I called to notify them and request a refund and found them to be unprofessional - I could hear the entire convo between employees trying to figure out what to do and if I should get a refund.
