I hate writing bad reviews but this time I felt it was necessary. I’m going to start off with the good bc I believe the kitchen staff deserves a good praise. The food was very good. Tacos were packed full, the queso was perfect, and the frozen margaritas were so tasty! The kitchen staff did such a good job on the food and the bartenders (I’m guessing) did good on the frozen margaritas. Our food was done in like 10 minutes (it was not busy , about two other small tables, but I still think that’s good). The problem comes in with our waitress who didn’t give her name, she was younger and had red hair with tinsel in it. She seemed like she wanted absolutely nothing to do with us, before we could finish our questions she’d walk away cutting us off (multiple times). By the time she got us salt and napkins to eat our food it was basically cold. What topped it off at the end was that I asked for the bill to be split (which there was only two of us) with drinks and queso on one ticket and then the rest of the food on a separate one. She messed it up which I totally understand that people make mistakes and didn’t really think much of it so my partner asked her very nicely if we can get it fixed. She then grabs the tickets and basically storms off literally putting her head back like she was annoyed. Can I also add that I heard such good things about this place that I picked it as my birthday dinner spot and she just completely ruined our experience. Even though the food tasted better than tacos and beer I would go there over having to deal with a waitress like that again. Sorry for the long review but I hope the establishment might be able to create a better atmosphere by the...

The atmosphere was nice and friendly. My friend and I were immediately greeted and seated. Chips and salsa were on the table almost before we sat down (a huge plus). The eating area is a little small, so when full, gets a little loud but not too bad. Our server Cooper was very attentive and courteous.

My friend and I got the street tacos for Taco Tuesday and house margaritas. The margaritas were a great size (and strength) for the deal. We read online that the Taco Tuesday deal is $1.50 Street tacos or $8 for 5 tacos (which comes out to $1.60/taco) so that was a little confusing. The barbacoa and pastor street tacos were out-of-this-world good but sadly the carnitas fell short. It was flavorless and very greasy (I am originally from South Carolina so I know - and love - my pork). When I tried to send my carnitas back in exchange for another meat (and visibly hadn't touched one taco (I ordered two carnitas)), I was told it wasn't allowed. So I paid for a taco that I did not like and did not eat.

Other than the taco, our first round of queso was hot, fresh and delicious! But sadly our second round was lukewarm at best and the low temperature made a negative difference in the overall experience of the dish. The chips were warm, crispy and (the right amount of) salty each time.

Not 100% positive I would go back but I would say give the place a chance and get some...

We were in need of a hot meal after being without power from hurricane Zeta . The block had no power and this restuarant had set things up by generator. I we were steated quickly, at a clean socially distant table. I then visited the lady's restroom to wash my hands only there were no paper towels to dry my hands...grateful for soap provided. We ordered and from where I sat I could clearly see the kitchen. There were several workers preparing food with their mask BELOW the chin or below the nose. One server in particular was at the bar prepping salsa and to go orders with his mask alternately below his nose or resting at his upper lip. I asked to speak to the manager and voiced my concerns about the lax masking of most of the employees. They then complied however the same server attending bar went back to His Comfort of masking below his nose. Unfortunately, my order was wrong served with the plastic nossel from the "pico machine". The food came out at separate intervals. Our server was very attentive however the manager came to the table to close our check without apology and at full price.( At some point we were warned that the power had been turned on and we sat in the dark with music being qued first while smoke from the kitchen filled the dining/bar room. )And the food was mediocre dissatisfaction felt by the...

My sister and I went here for Taco Tuesday ( 10$ for 5 tacos) to catch up since we're in college now. We tried every flavor sans the chorizo. I ranked them Barbacoa (8.5/10) Steak (8/10) Chicken (7.5/10) Al Pastor (6.5/10) Carnitas (5/10) My sister ranked them Steak (9.5/10) Barbacoa (8.5/10) Carnitas (8/10) Chicken (8/10) Al Pastor (6/10) They're all way better with the sauce! Then we had a churro cake for dessert because they did not have flan at the time and my days! 10/10 ( bit pricey for 8 dollars considering the size, though) It tasted like bread pudding and cinnamon toast crunch had a baby. 18% gratuity was included in the final price under the category of other charges ( think it's always included on Tuesdays according to the menu ) Total was approximately 57 dollars, rounding up. Better to pay with cash than card ( as we did ). Overall, we would revisit again. Food was great, banter with the server was cool, and we had a fun time.

Came here on Mardi Gras Tuesday and got seated after a short wait with a group of 10! The servers were really nice and we got a ton of free salsa and nachos to munch on as our food came. Good: I really liked my taco salad as well as the enchilada trio that I shared with my friend - the flavor is really good and portion sizes are huge here so we didn't finish what we got in the end. The margarita tower was also super large and a good value - we got 2 of them for our group of 10 and the mango and king cake flavors were my favorites. Bad: The food arrives pretty slowly so you'll have to wait some time for your food to get there. I thought the queso was just alright from my perspective. Overall I really enjoyed my experience and would come again! It's a fun casual vibe so not super fancy but the food is cheaper than some fancier establishments around it.
