Tastee Restaurant Deli-Donuts — Restaurant in New Orleans

Please stop Burning the donuts they come out with grease cooked in them. I’ve been going there on and off for 30 years when they’re good they’re good but most of the time they burn one side and it cooks in the Grease in the donuts and you get a mouthful of grease. I stopped go their try McDonald’s try other donut places it takes too long to go to the McDonald’s I go back. Hope that is better always the same. I grew up eating at this location. Before my Grandpa past away, we would often visit as he lived nearby on Center Street near the old High School. There was NOTHING like a dozen Tastee burgers and a Silk Chocolate Milk. I was only 10 years old but still till this day some 15 years later, I am still craving this exact locations perfect Tastee Kastle burgers. If the owners are reading this, even if owners have changed since the year 2000, please know the great satisfaction that this place leaves people with. When I visited this place, which is five minutes from my house, I couldn't remember why I stopped going here and instead travel eight minutes to a competitor. Then, when I asked for four donuts, the cost was $6! For FOUR donuts! I wondered if they were charging the "you ain't been here so long, we gonna price goug you to death and get our pay back"! I doubt very seriously that people go here everyday, and if they do, its to meet and carpool to another donuts shop! Too expensive!! I will not be returning unless they start reducing their prices.
