We were so excited for the addition of Greek in downtown NPR because we are down there most of the week for dinners or lunches but unfortunately this spot was definitely a disappointment. The hummus was phenomenal but that’s where the pros end. The Saganaki was cold, they don’t bring it out and flame it at the table, it was just a thick cold piece of cheese. The lamb chops and gyro meat had no seasonings nor did the chicken in the Floridian salad I added on. . The Floridian Salad was just oil for the dressing. We expressed to the owner, Poppi, feedback since they were new and she was insulted and annoyed with us, she said “we are busy cooking”, rolled her eyes and walked off. The waitress said “she’ll take care of you, she cares”. I said “she definitely doesn’t care” and we were right she didn’t make any attempts to make sure we were happy. You can be pretty on the outside with your interior design being beautiful but if you’re not pretty on the inside with geniune owners who care about their customers loving their food than it’s all for nothing. Such a disappointment, we were so excited to add this to our rotation but sadly, no, if Poppi doesn’t care than...
Read moreSo glad there’s been a Greek addition to New Port Richey. My family is Greek so we tend to be picky in regards to Greek places but this one takes the cake for the best I’ve tried thus far (in America).
The Gyro was perfect, melt in your mouth tender and so flavourful. Good amount of Tzatziki and very well balanced.
The Avgolemono in the sourdough bread bowl was overflowing and a very good consistency, I prefer a little more lemon but they gave some on the side and that solved that issue. To be fair, I add more lemon to EVERYTHING. You can never too much lemon.
I wanna talk for a moment about the Star of the show, the fried feta with honey. Oh my GOODNESS, how incredible! I couldn’t finish everything so I ate it leftover and I don’t know how but it tasted EVEN BETTER as a late night snack, STILL crunchy and boy did it hit the spot.
I can’t review any more of the menu items until next time but I already cannot wait. They have a great menu selection and I’ve already got some ideas on what I’ll be getting next.

Read moreOne word AMAZING!!! Let me say I have lived in NPR for 53 years. Without saying other places names because I have, no wait, had 3 favorites. We always had to go Tarpon for Greek food. Well, not any more. I'm not a soup person, my husband is. He ordered the lemon soup and was like you gotta try this... DAMN, that's good. We had an appetizer, amazing. Our dinners were all on point. Desserts were moist and delicious. Stephanie was our waitress and let me say she was fun, bubbly, outgoing... all around comfortable personality. We also got to Popi one of the owners. Talking to them was like talking to old friends. Place was busy and so were all the staff. One would walk by and if your plate was empty they would take it. Great teamwork by all who work there. As we left our hard decision was when we coming back. Sorry I didn't get a pic until we started eating but here's one anyhow. This place is a hit. You can make reservations which is nice since many times there are a...
