My husband and I went to Thai Bistro off Main St in NPR for dinner and I am so so so glad we did. For an appetizer we shared the Sampler for 2 egg roll (2) crab rangoon (2) pot stickers (2) curry puff (2) shrimp tempura (2) it comes with 2 dipping sauces. 1 sauce was like a sweet and sour type which was good but the other sauce was a cucumber sauce or cucumber salad is how I think it was listed. Omgosh I wanted to dump the whole bowl out into my mouth. It was so tasty and refreshing and just awesome. I couldn't get enough of it so I bought a container of just the cucumber sauce to take home with me lol. I didn't get a picture of the appetizer, sorry. For our meal we shared the Massamun Curry A traditional Thai massamun curry paste in coconut milk pot onions carrots and bell and chicken for our meat selection and comes with a dish of jasmine rice. You choose your level of heat. We got mild because I can barely handle any type of hot spices. It was large enough for my husband and I to share and still have leftovers for tomorrow. It was also very very good. I took a picture but the picture isn't how it's brought to the table. I remembered to take a picture after I had already made my plate and then I took a picture of what was left in the bowl after my husband and I had already made both our plates. Plenty left over to bring home for 2nd dinner or for lunch tomorrow. My husband ordered a Thai tea drink that tasted more like a melted dreamsickle than it did a tea but still very good and I ordered a plum sake. It was very strong and I couldn't even drink half of it but I'm weak when it comes to alcohol lol was still good though. The restaurant is very cute with all sorts of Asian decor and very clean. The staff, I'm sorry I don't remember her name, but I believe she's the owner, is very friendly, very sweet and didn't mind us asking questions and talking about the food. I even asked her if I could come back for her to teach me how to make the cucumber salad stuff and she told me yes she'd teach me. So very sweet... We will definitely be going back. This place is a Top 5 favorite places to eat here in town. Might be my #1 but will have to see. We look forward to going back! I hope you all will give them a go. She did mention in conversation about how difficult it has been to remain open due to lack of people wanting to work and the cost of supplies and food going up. So I hope the community will help in keeping this place open.

This a cute little Thai restaurant. I enjoyed eating here for the soft lighting, wood paneling, and beautiful decor. The server was very kind and was pleasantly fluent in English, which isn't always the case for smaller establishments. The food was delicious, though I only tasted the curry puff appetizer and Pad Thai dish. The portion was generous on the noodles, and I ended up with some to go (which I don't normally have). The only other thing that I'll say about the food is that it was spicier than I expected. I pretty much always get a medium heat level (or 5 out of 10 or 2-3 out of 5) at other Thai restaurants and I never think it's too spicy, though I'm from Ohio and there may be a regional difference. The medium level here was almost too much. It definitely pushed my limits and in other venues would definitely be considered hot, though it did not make the food less delicious. But it may be a good idea to start with mild and see how that goes if you're unsure about it. You can always add spice, but you can't take it away...

This place is everything. All homemade food, everything is fresh and delicious. The food and decor is all very authentic and beautiful. Two of us went there with different unusual food allergies and they were happy to accommodate both of us. They have options for vegans, vegetarians, gluten intolerance, garlic and onion intolerance, fodmap intolerance, lactose intolerance, egg allergies, coconut allergies, you name it. They know exactly what is in everything because it's home made with love. Family owned and they care. They remember me and they never make me feel bad for having special dietary needs. Since I discovered my fodmap i tolarance I have hated going out to dinner butthis place has made it an enjoyable experience again. Highly recommend Thai Bistro.

Went in for Sunday dinner at 7 pm, a full two hours before the specified closing time, left completely done at 7:42 with some of the most horrible, rudest, nastiest service and food we have ever experienced before in our lives.

We used to dine here quite often and enjoy the setting, service, and food but Sunday night 12/19 was absolutely off-putting in every single way. Not sure if owners have changed in the past few months, but whomever the woman was working on Sunday should be given her pink slip.

Upon arrival, we were barely able to ask if we could sit at a specific booth before the rude woman waiting tables agreed and let us sit near the entrance since I am disabled with a foot injury and unable to walk all the way to the back booth she wanted us to sit at. Sitting down, menus were basically thrown on the table, which was sticky and unwashed, before we were left to look over them.

Within minutes we felt as if we were totally inconveniencing the waitress as she rushed us through our order without even a pause as if she were on fire and needed to be put out immediately. Our drinks arrived, one of the Thai teas was covered in spilled milk. Our apps came, bland/freezer burnt, swimming in old foul tasting oil with sauce that tasted as if it had sat under the Florida sun for two weeks before being put unopened in a dirty refrigerator. When our meals arrived, the fried rice was white and barely anything in it, the pad thai was soupy. During the course, our waitress returned to remove dishes and grabbed my husband's silverware with her bare hands, and chucked them on his entrée plate as if the whole process was irritating her. The same hands she had just cleaned other tables with, disgusting! Not once did she return for drink refills, inquire about our food, or ask about dessert. She simply returned with the check, threw it on the table, and snatched up our dishes.

We have never felt more at unease than we did last night in all the years we had dined at this establishment. Rushed, treated rudely, and being exposed to cross-contamination by a hurried and hateful woman whose only concern was getting us out the way ruined the entire meal and what would have been a pleasant experience beyond the lackluster overpriced food.

DO BETTER! If you don't want to work past a certain time, change your hours! We arrived two hours before closing, not five minutes before, and were treated horribly. If bad pricey food and a wait staff that would do well in a prison kitchen are your thing, come right on in but consider us no...

I literally thought it was impossible to make Thai food taste bad until I got here. Got pad thai, which is the staple of pretty much any Thai place I go to. They literally got their sauce out of a can, threw it on some noodles, through some sliced lemongrass on it, and then some peanuts next to it. This is a great place to go to if you have no taste buds at all. I should have known something was wrong when the clientele was geriatric, and nobody came around to actually check to see if you liked the food. There's about three or four really good Thai places around here, this is not one of them. To top it off, there was a fly in my water. It would have been one thing if the fly flew in after they had given me the water, but I fished this fly out. I would not eat here if you paid me. I ate about three bites of my pad thai, and felt sick to my stomach. I know this isn't the usual reaction because this place is really highly rated, but I can honestly say that this is not a place I would go to, nor would I recommend anyone else go to. Especially, if you actually eaten in Thailand. If you eaten in Thailand, you will know that this food is not good, because it has no smell to it at all. Thai food is spicy and sensual. This food was Bland, and had a weird greasy reddish film to it. Wouldn't recommend to my...
