The Village Pub Downtown — Restaurant in New Port Richey

This place advertised open mic night on Wednesday's but to my disappointment, there was none! I spoke to some of the patrons and they reported that there has never been open mic nights on Wednesday or any other night and that the only place they'd recommend was up the street at another venue.

Also there was no food sold there during the 10 o'clock hour. The positive was that the patrons were nice and friendly. I was able to network for my artist NOVAMAN ON DA BEAT who was looking to perform and get exposure for his upcoming album "Presha, Volume 2". 3 - Stars for false advertising. Been coming here for years and are regulars. All the bartenders are AMAZING except the one with the blue hair. Every time we come and she’s here we wait at least 15 minutes without her getting our order all while she’s sitting on her phone or rearranging pens. Not helping other customers or doing anything else of importance. Mind you, this is when they’re busy and slow. She’s rude and has horrible customer service. All of our friends complain about her as well and say the same. Such a shame and we will probably not come back while...

A great neighborhood bar. Daytime bartender Debbie is the best. Beer and drinks are VERY reasonable. Clientele is mostly freindly locals but does get its fair share of new people, strangers and people passing through. Everyone is treated well. Inside is clean and smoke free with ice cold AC. Outside patio is large and allows smoking. Owners are hands on and you see one or both everyday checking on the operation. You won't be disappointed stopping in...
