EDIBLE veggie hummus wrap, HORRIBLE customer service. They were busy when we arrived, but there were plenty of tables open, and only two parties ahead of us in line, so it wasn’t crazy. They took our order with zero personality, but no explicit rudeness other than the turkey scraps mindlessly brushed off the counter to land on the floor at my feet. After patiently waiting over 30 minutes and hearing multiple order numbers after ours called out, I went to the counter to ask if I had missed hearing our number. With zero personality (again) or eye contact, a woman asked for my order number and told me it twas next up. I stayed at the counter and watched two girls proceed to make multiple sandwiches next that were definitely not mine. I overheard one woman tell a customer someone hadn’t shown up to work that day, which set them back, but she gave no apology. After another 10 minutes and more orders after ours being picked up, I asked again about our order. An extremely rude, small woman with dark brown hair told me it was being made. When I explained I had been told that ten minutes before, but watched them make many sandwiches since, she just continued to repeat “he’s making it now” and point towards the back, then told me I should have known it would take long because I saw they were busy. She never once apologized or offered a reason that I was there 45 minutes without food, while several others behind me had received theirs. I told her that in customer service an apology goes a very long way, and she became unbelievably rude, telling me my “standing at the counter isn’t helping.” When I reiterated that simple apologies go a long way, she looked me right in the eye and said I had “5 seconds to get out of her face.” I had to chuckle at that. I even had two customers apologize to me because they saw how long I had been there. Seriously. Actually just look at me and apologize, and I would have been fine. And the food was definitely not worth the wait. Too many gracious business owners on Flagler to return to this place, at least until they’ve had time to adjust...
Read moreBeen coming here for years now, and I’m so disappointed with the staff that was working on 4th of July. Please do not waste your time or money here, I spent $30 for my sandwich to be missing ingredients, cold, and disgusting. We came in 20 minutes before close to walk into a store with every single chair up and the staff being incredibly rude giving nasty looks to the customers, very uninviting. The fryer was turned off 20 minutes before they even closed so after I had already put in the sandwich a rude female employee with dyed hair then came up to the cashier and yelled at her that they turned off the fryer already. They then told me i could not get what I had ordered so I order the three cheese caprese as I am a vegetarian and the options are limited, they told me they could not press it but they could bake it instead. Unbelievable, especially since this is a holiday you would assume the employees would want to stay open till their scheduled time and provide good customer service as they earn tips. They only let us take out food to go and had the cashier unlock the door for us as they were keeping her on guard with the door locked. This is the problem when you only hire high school students as they only wanted to close and felt as if they could rush every sandwich and left my sandwich completely cold in the middle and missing the tomato’s. When a sandwich only had a handful of ingredients and no meat included in the price it’s astonishing that they would be too lazy to cut tomato’s for it. The owner Angie needs re evaluate her staff because they are creating a very bad image for...
Read moreVery poor experience. Poor to the point I probably won’t give them another shot - unlike me. 1) Workers more interested in caring on their own conversations than in educating customers on product offerings - was like customers didn’t exist (this was over spring break ‘21) 2) workers more interested in closing the shop down - I would argue early - than in making additional sales (I get it, employee mentality, but don’t be so obvious about it) 3) even though we were there well before close, we asked for a couple hot subs was told the ovens were already turned off for the night. I challenged that one b/c it appeared the employees were cooking for themselves whatever they wanted and an appliance was fired up 4) we found their menu - the one on the wall to be confusing w/ no pricing if I recall. So confusing and both my boys ordered some RIDICULOUSLY priced subs. I challenged the pricing and the surfer dude says “yeah, covid has forced us to raise their prices.” I understand our government via the federal reserve is causing inflation, but I really don’t wish to talk w/ this guy about economics. I just want subs at a reasonable price. Oh, yeah, the bread is work to eat. Your jaw will be tired - and they shorted us on the ingredients I really came there for. Value proposition is low. Place has promise, but unfortunately is hit and miss at best and I had a poor experience - my...
