Sharky's NSB — Restaurant in New Smyrna Beach

We are here for anniversary and we were walking down the street and we saw Sharkeys and it said southern scratch cooking across the street and went inside. Spoke with Courtney who guided us outside and we sat down and looked at the menu ordered our food I had the barbecue chicken with grits It was delicious. It also came with asparagus that were cooked perfectly. My husband had the shrimp and grits. He had a most delicious arugula salad that came with that what a surprise to have food that was cooked to perfection! A friend told us about Sharkey's and we couldn't wait to try it out. It was Memorial Day weekend and it was pretty busy, but the staff were super attentive and greeted us the moment we sat down. Our bartender Darcy went above and beyond, even bringing our food outside to us after we moved from the bar to an outside table. The food was superb. We ordered a few apps, crab cakes and chicken fingers. The crab cakes were the freshest, most delicious crab cakes that I have ever eaten in my whole life! Fresh and clean and from scratch restaurant. It was such a relief to find great food and it did not feel touristy. They truly do everything from scratch and the quality and flavor is on point! We got the fried shrimp and hush puppies and they were great. For our main we had the fried chicken sandwich and smash burger both were great and fresh!
