朱富贵泡椒田鸡 CHOO FOR GOOD — Restaurant in New York

出餐速度超快，完全不像一般餐廳，整體非常現代化，井井有條。特地為了活田雞來的，果然沒失望，分量超出預期，肉質緊實，鮮味十足。雖然我希望泡椒能多一點，不過整體的酸味還是夠的。咕咾肉也超推薦，外國朋友超喜歡！環境衛生也不錯，建議可以考慮套餐更划算。希望這樣的現代中餐廳能在八大道附近越來越多，讓更多人知道！

This place is surprisingly efficient — the food came out incredibly fast! Honestly, it doesn’t feel like a typical restaurant, more like a well-run, modern operation. I came here specifically for the fresh frog dish, which is made from live frogs that are prepped to order — definitely their signature item.

We ordered the small portion, but it was already quite large. The frog meat was super fresh and firm, noticeably different from other places. It’s not heavily marinated, but the natural, clean taste of the meat really shines through. The dish had plenty of vegetables and a nice sour kick — though I personally wish they had added more pickled chili peppers. The sauce had a little yellow chili flavor, but it seemed more like white vinegar was the main source of the sourness. Still good, just not quite what I was expecting.

Also, the sweet and sour pork (咕咾肉) was a big hit, especially with foreign friends. If you’re bringing international guests, definitely order this one — it’s flavorful and very accessible.

We ordered à la carte since we wanted different dishes, but I think the set menu might offer better value. The restaurant was clean, the vibe was organized and modern. Honestly, Brooklyn’s 8th Avenue Chinatown could use more places like this — modern, efficient, with great service and fresh dishes.
