We have been to Twinkle a bunch of times during the day for different play sessions. The play areas are clean and the staff is professional and the play space has endless fun options for kids. There is a something every Boy and girl. There is treehouse to climb, fire station, water table, dress up salon with costumes, supermarket with shopping carts, tea party bake shop and tons play food. Our daughter loves this play space.
We decided to have a birthday party for our 6 year old daughter. We just had the party and were amazed and impressed. Once you sign up, all you do is check off what you want, choose your party theme (tons of options) and all the kids get their own personal pizza, juice box and cupcake as well as a goodie bag.
You also have the option to add on magicians or face painter, professional photographer, etc. twinkle takes care of all of that.
As a stressed parent in New York City, you really do not have to do anything here. All you have to do is show up and have a good time. We came at the start time and met all the guests. Just let Twinkle take care of the magic ! We had a great time snd walked out with our birthday gifts. It was stressless planning. We also had the option of offering food for the adults and they all said the food was delicious!!!! All the parents and kids had an amazing time and was looking into having their party here too. Just remember to book 6 months in advance given its popularity!!!!
The staff was professional and double checked all the details with us many times before the party and checked in with us many times during the party. They took care of setting up the food in the party room and took care of all the clean up. This was one of the best kids birthday parties we have ever been too. Most importantly, our daughter had a great, memorable, fun filled celebration with all her friends. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who is looking for a wonderful stressless...
Read moreI found this place through google. It didn’t have as many reviews as other places like in Astoria but it had very good reviews. I liked the fact that there wasn’t a ball pit (for sanitary reasons). I liked that everything was clean and there was a no shoe policy.
My son celebrated his 2nd bday there. It was a cookie monster theme. Here is what I liked about the place (PROS) I had the basic package and wanted to add extras that I made myself to the goodie bags. The staff at Twinkle assisted with that, along with setting up my additional decor. I did not have to worry about setting up or clean up. They took care of everything. The host would check in every 30 mins or so to make sure everything was ok. I did not have to track anyone down . They had a bottle warmer which was excellent since I forgot to pack one for my 7 month old baby. The staff was professional, welcoming and organized . My guests kept asking me where I found this place. There were so many things for kids to do and they all had a blast! I didn’t have to stress or worry about anything as a host. Twinkle took care of everything. The experience was worth every penny. They sent a thank you card in the mail along with a free day pass for my son. Very thoughtful and sweet gesture on their part!
Cons: Out of 25 adult guests, only one said parking was tough to find. Not a huge deal, but if you are thinking about having a party at twinkle, it’s best to carpool if possible. Not a big deal but just an fyi there is street parking and meter parking under the BQE that’s two blocks away.
Thank you twinkle for such a memorable &...
Read moreI want to take a moment to humble myself to this play space and their wonderful staff. This morning when I arrived for my reserved open play the staff informed me that there was an issue with their system and without their knowledge had double booked and we were not able to go in. I was annoyed, my toddler bummed but they apologized, refunded and gave us a free pass to use another day. This stuff comes up, systems fail that is why tech support is a thing, it is annoying but it happens. My frustration was still there until I saw what happened next. What can only be described as the living embodiment of the reason why small businesses struggle and should be praised and protected at all costs rolled up. A mother threw the most epic toddler worthy fit, tossed her child into the play space without permission, verbally attacked the staff and called the police! This woman called the police on a play space because of a system error that prevented her child (whom was actively/happily stealing that very service) from entering. Cheers to the patient staff, the police that did not arrest her for a blatant waste of their time and anyone who owns a small business. You are heroes! We will happily return to Twinkle because if they can be kind to that they are the nicest...
