Meat is expensive here and it's never really fresh. It has parts where looks likes its splitting, rough when you know it's getting old. They mix sometimes these bad pieces with newer ones. I never buy meat here only if emergency. Fruits/veggies have issues here too. Hass avocados which I love , you buy here and even before they ripe in your house are turning black inside and those string like hairs, so does the yellow Plantains. They don't get ripe enough and start getting hard , dried out. The Batatas always look old, horrible so does Yautias, dry old. I would avoid meat, veggies, fruit if I have to from here and get better selection elsewhere. I rarely come here and when i do, its for one off items, like rolls and salad, etc.
They have stepped their game up with cleanliness since the pandemic. Which is a really good thing.
However, they have this bad habit of only having two registers open after a certain time. Often times the line gets really long and causes alot of traffic in the supermarket. Most of the time, the line ends up extending into the aisles.

Prices are reasonable for meat and poultry and produce with above average quality but slightly higher than average for dairy and groceries. Quality of items is above average and has a large Hispanic and Caribbean selection of items not found in other markets in the area. They have weekly sales that change each week that would inspire to visit weekly to see what the sales are. Overall I feel this Market is an above average market...
