Corky’s Diner — Restaurant in New York

Usually Corkys is my go to! We always love ordering out from this establishment or consistently eating in during our free mornings. Today was a bit different, we ordered our food and upon opening one of the boxes I discovered a bug crawling throughout the food. In shock I quickly closed the boxes, to then have someone reopen it and discover exactly what I did moments before. I called the restaurant in hopes to just have someone return the money I just spent on food I was no longer interested in, even telling them they could pick up the entire order so the exchange was understood. The owner quickly dismissed me stating that it was impossible being that he checked the food himself before it left, refusing to give me any of my money back but rather a discount on the food that had the bug. Food is great Clean and neat the staff is also very polite and greet you on your way in and out always caring for customer satisfaction but the blonde waitress and the OWNERS are incredibly rude! Last week i called for delivery and was taken care of by the owner everything was well except when i asked to pay with card he complained and said “what is wrong with people today everyone is paying with card “ then rudely asked me for my information and after i finished he immediately hung up on me .Similar story today i call and place my order this time im paying with cash i give him my adress and phone number as well and after i finish he immediately hangs up ...no thankyou ? I mean hes an owner and should set an example . He also got my order wrong :/ But i cant complain the cooks always do their best ...I dont know i like this place but a customer should always feel appreciated and the owners and his associates makes us feel...

Worst food ever I have been coming here for years but all of a sudden food is not good at all there is no flavor on the food eggs have no salt or black Pepper . The owner who's taking the order through the phone can't even get the orders right I ask for two bacon egg sandwich with no cheese as already saying it from the start and he repeats the order back to me and they still messed up my order my kids didn't even eat it. Also I call and the owner just keeps hanging up the phone on me bad service.
