Where do I start... I decided to grab some food around 8pm on a Wednesday.

Once I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff. I was unsure of what i wanted, but the staff was very helpful in helping me make a choice.

I ordered a large oxtail with rice and peas(extra gravy on the rice), a medium jerk chicken with rice and peas (oxtail gravy on the rice).

After I got the food I looked over at the juices and couldn't resist. I asked for 2 large pineapple and ginger drinks.

I walked a few blocks home and was pleasantly surprised. The food was good, the drinks were amazing.

So the run down...

The not so great

The music was loud, I think they are trying to get people inside by playing music... But the music was too loud for them to hear me while I was ordering.

The salad and cabbage looked like it's been sitting there all day... I'm glad I could see the salad before they tried to add it to my dish... I told them to not give me any.

I'm not sure if you have to ask for utensils or napkins but they didn't included any so you may need to ask

Their drink lids could fit better. I think I'm most upset about that because the drinks were AMAZING and that ounce of juice will be missed lol

Now the good

The staff was great, a group of young friendly men.

The prices were decent. I hope they don't raise after a few weeks.

They have a great portion size. Most places act like you didn't pay for your meal, and like there is a shortage. 4 Milli gave me a great amount of food that made me feel good about spending my money. And I don't mind giving them more money in the future.

The restaurant was CLEAN! I appreciate purchasing food from a clean establishment. I have walked out of many places in the past.

That juice... A must have . It's worth it

I'm going home later and finishing my food from last night.

The accept credit cards with no issues... No headache about minimums like other Caribbean restaurants in the area

All and all I felt great about my decision to support 4 Milli. I hope they can continue to give the same level of good food and great customer service. I hope the next time I go I can change that 4 star to a 5.

Revision

After my first visit, I went back about 3 weeks later (6/14) around 9-930pm. I ordered 3 meals jerk chicken, stewed chicken and curried chicken with 3 large pineapple and gingers. We got salad , it looked fairly fresh, a huge improvement from the last time. The music was at a level so I could order without shouting. We got utensils, the drinks were still amazing... Lids were still loose, but 🤷🏽‍♂️ can't win them all. Just make sure to use caution when transporting them.

Just like the first time, the staff was friendly and I have no problems spending my money here.

Changing...

My husband and I just got our food today. We love this place. My husband first heard of this when I pointed it out on a ride home from work month ago. He invited his parents over to eat and watch movies and he took his dad with him to first try the food out. They all loved it and that's why we both went today. We immediately love the decor and the interior design. Everything is modern and clean. The staff all came out with smiles and dancing to the music. We couldn't see the menu so the owner gave us the printed menu. We also looked at the website ahead of time and we had an idea. We ordered and it was quickly packed. The chef stations and back areas were all clean too. The owner then told us about the fresh juices and we decided on the pineapple ginger. I'm Puerto Rican and Guyanese, so I'm familiar with this combo. I told my husband this is good, but we were given a sample just in case. Close of sale is phenomenal. We love that there is an option to tip when we pay with card. I entered feeling sad and left feeling happy, which made my husband happy. And the food and drinks are the cherries on top. Knowing this is around the corner, this will be the only local restaurant we will patronize because we only go...

Pretty solid place, down from the affordable food to the precise service.

Stepping in, the place seems more on the narrow side. There is a seating area but since it's so close to the waiting area, I would not be comfortable eating in just in case the place got busy so I opted to take my food to go. The guy behind the counter served my food up pretty well and it was affordable. A solid medium plate will run you $13, $15 if it's an Oxtail order.

I ordered Jerk Chicken along with Rice & Beans and a bit of cabbage on the side with complimentary jerk sauce for the chicken and if I knew the kick that sauce was gonna have, I woulda told the guy to put a light amount on it. Don't get me wrong, it was absolutely delicious but WOW IT WAS SPICY! It was absolutely overwhelming but I toughed it out because the food other than the wild spicy sauce was so divine. I enjoyed my lunch, even though it almost put a beating on my taste buds. It's solid, I recommend it, especially those who have a taste for some spice...
