The Juice Joint — Restaurant in New York

Terrible experience, though I’ve been a regular customer to this establishment. I’ve tried several of their juices, protein shakes patties and burger’s. After today’s experience I will NEVER BE BACK. I walked in as always went to the cashier who pointed me to a self served kiosk…. My exact words to her was “oh this must be new” I proceeded to order a post workout and a kale patty, it then prompted me to enter my name. I waited then I heard “post workout “ (not my name) nonetheless I went and collected my shake and asked for the patty, I was then told that the ticket they received only had the post workout. I said that can’t be accurate, because I paid $20.38 this light skin female who wasn’t even the person that was helping me, told me that I only ordered a shake and that’s the price for a shake ONLY. When I asked if she can check the order she said NO. At that moment I was extremely confused because I didn't grab the receipt. Luckily enough the receipt was sitting on the kiosk. When I retrieved the receipt and tried to show it to her. She was super nasty with her reply asking not to show her to her face. I noticed she had gloves on preparing a meal. I wasn’t going to hand it to her to contaminate her gloves. I figured I’ll show it to her get my patty and be on my way. SHE CONTINUED TO BE OVER THE TOP NASTY AND RUDE. As if I wasn’t a paid customer. I then decided I no longer wanted anything. I can’t pay for something and be treated as if I was begging you. She informed me that there’s no way to get my refund, I would have to return when the manager is present. Another staff wrote on the receipt to refund the patty. The shake went into the trash outside the store. I WONT EAT FROM ANY ESTABLISHMENT THAT TREATS PAYING...

I’ve gotten take out and delivery from Juice Joint. I’ve tried the smoothie, avocado blt, patty, and the acai bowl. The avocado blt I got today and a few days ago was not good. The avocado tasted rotten and another time I bit hard into the branch piece left from the avocado. My fruit in my acai bowl or toppings are also not the same amount or cut the same every order. I think their food can be tasty but it is not consistent.

The store is really cute very new. They had music playing and a picture wall. At first, I was enjoying the music, but quickly realized I think they were just playing so you can’t hear what’s going on in the back. When my order was getting prepared in the back, I could hear someone coughing a lot which was a little gross… hopefully that was not the person preparing my food.

I thought this could be a new favorite for me, but they also don’t accept phone orders which is inconvenient. This is my experience, try it...
