Hibachi Express — Restaurant in New York

Good food, waiting time between 10-30 minutes depending on day and time so I would recommend ordering ahead. Would have given 5 stars but today I did not like my my interaction with one of the staff. I ordered online as I usually do and went to pay with my card and she looks at me the card and says no cash I said no just the card and she says no cash again. I said no what is wrong with the card she tells me the minimum is $15 with the card and I ask since when and she says all the time when I am here. I say since when because I was here last week and i order from here at least once a week and never had an issue and my total has been less then the $13 I paid today I was not told this. She says again it has been this way since we opened, I started to just leave the food and try my chances elsewhere but I was running late for work and this was the quickest option. I usually don’t leave reviews but I just ordered Hibachi Express from Uber Eats and I was excited to try this place out and eat a traditional typical chicken teriyaki dish. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with fried rice and vegetables and the chicken they supplied me with was horrendous. The chicken tasted extremely unappetizing and it was way too soft, and tasted like a lot of the fat of the chicken didn’t render through properly while cooking. The chicken was a lackluster gray color and was extremely chewey. My chicken also barley had teriyaki sauce on it. Chicken and steak hibachi was fire. Good portion of meat for the money, the meat actually tasted good, the fried rice tasted good and that white sauce they provided went nicely with the food. Also got some fried pork gyoza and that was okay, nothing special. Hibachi here is definitely on point, I'm surprised it took me so long to check it out after getting recommendations from my coworkers.
