I wanted to keep this place a secret. Sometimes I can be selfish like that. I don't want anybody to know of a spot I love until I am sick, tired and ready to move on from it. I take it as far as to not checking in or posting pictures. Top secret stuff. Since its the holiday season, I will share with you all.

Abracadabra is a reliable spot to get good food. Super tiny, yes, but well worth it. The decor is adorable; you'll see all kinds of wacky, cute little things. I like places like this. It has a homey; cozy feel to it. It's a shame it sits a few people, but that's what makes it unique and personal. A whimsical tiny hole in the place.

The food is excellent. Hits the spot every time. That veganizer burrito has made me realize that all my efforts to not eat meat have paid off. Because there is a place like this, that makes this good nonmeat burrito. It's tasty, spicy, and humongous. I have been disappointed at other places when I've opted for vegetarian burritos. Not here!

The service is excellent. The staff is pleasant and attentive. The first time my sister and I went we wanted to order four plates. Talk about eating with our eyes. The gracious man behind the counter suggested we each start with one plate and let him know midway if we still had room for more. That was thoughtful of him, and he was right. What we ordered was more than enough.

Abracadabra is a great spot to go to with a close friend. Sit by the window and sip on some delicious Turkish coffee while...

Twice in the past month I’ve gone to this restaurant and when they rung me up the prices were 15% more expensive than the menu price. The first time I pointed this out they apologized and said they recently raised prices, fair enough. Next time I go back in they have simply erased all the prices off the big menu that’s above the register. So in order to see the prices you have to pick up the menus on the counter. Same deal. I get rung up at a price that’s 15% above what the prices on the menu are, every item. I point this out and they first try to give me a hard time about it but I refuse to get out of the line unless I get it for the menu price because I waited at the register for 5 minutes while they walked past me multiple times ignoring me before they took my order. Other reviews are correct the people working here are a little on the slow side and they are scamming also. Menu price for the borek sandwich with sausage is $12, which is already outrageous for a breakfast sandwich with two small slices of sausage on it, but being rung up at $13.50 is an outright scam and highway robbery. Any corner deli can make you a sandwich like this one for $6 or less. Do not support places like this that are price gouging and outright scamming. This place use to be one of my favorite spots but over the past year the prices have gotten insane and it’s not worth it anymore by...

Cute decor, the people working there were nice - but a little bit overbearing. It felt like they were slightly listening to our conversation and would give us stuff we were thinking about asking about, before we asked them directly - I felt like I couldn’t talk about the food candidly because of this lol (and any comments I made about the food, I lowered my voice since it seemed like they were listening). We were sitting near the front of the cafe for reference.

My sister and I agreed the food was just OK. The dishes in concept sounded good but the execution was lacking. The pistachio matcha latte was really watery, no pistachio taste, matcha was a dull green - a sign of cheap or old/oxidized matcha. The chicken tikka bowl needed more sauce desperately, there was not enough to go with the rice. Chicken was also dry and overcooked. The dish looked appealing visually, but that’s as far as it went. The burek sandwich was better but still not that great. We wanted to like everything more than we did 🥲 the food just really lacked flavor and the execution level was not there, especially considering the prices (not cheap!).

I would take the 5 stars reviews with a grain of salt for...

I kind of wish you guys were open earlier for my breakfast to goto. So I was off today and wanted to be “healthy” so I figured I’d hit up Pitanga but fortunately enough for me and everyone else they’re now closed on Tuesdays. With that being said this lead me on the hunt for substance, my mood reflecting the weather I didn’t want to venture far out as I normally so i remembered the little hole in the wall that gave off cool Amsterdam smoke shop vibes. So I get here and I’m not gonna lie I was a bit taken back by the selection, luckily a neighbor of mines was in the corner chilling waiting for her order. Wanting not to waste any time or money I asked her what she’d recommend. She said the croissant with bacon egg and cheese their sauce is on point, enough said I hit the register like I’ll have what she had and a omega granola bowl. Both products and staff were absolutely phenomenal. Thank you

The food here is amazing. If you’re vegetarian, there are many options to choose from and the food is freshly made and super tasty. The lentil and quinoa balls platter is my favorite! It’s my go to dish here. Making a vegan and gluten-free dessert is probably really difficult to make taste good because it could end up being too dry, but their raw vegan chocolate cake is probably one of the best desserts I’ve ever tried. It’s perfectly made. Sweet and moist enough. This is a great place to check out for all types of foodies. 5 stars. Love this place so much. It’s a hidden gem ❤️
