Arefin’s Tea Mania New York — Restaurant in New York

My parents live in the area and every time I visit them, I try different flavors of boba at Tea Mania. Since my siblings try different flavors than me, it’s safe to say I’ve consumed their entire tea menu at this point.

I do agree that the pricing is significantly higher than any other boba spot I’ve been to, but the creative drinks make up for it and it’s a treat once in a while. My favorite drinks are the kulfi drinks, where they add a scoop of mango, pistachio, or malai kulfi. Love their drinks especially the brown sugar milk tea. Only complaint I may have is:

I ran into 2 workers that weren’t too friendly on Saturday Feb. 22,2025 around 4pm. Came up to the counter and they didnt even acknowledge us until they finished what they were doing. Totally understand they might be busy but a simple “we will be right with you” gesture with a smile goes a long way. This is just constructive criticism for the male and female behind the counter so they can provided a better customer experience. This placed sucked. It took them like 5 mins to make my drink, and it was not even busy. The drink tasted bad, I got the brown sugar milk tea. Tasted like milk they skimmped out on the brown sugar.

Edit: Went back again and hopes they changed. They did not. I ordered a drink the Creme Brulee. The cashier charged me $7 instead of 6 even though it listed 6 on the menu. Want to ask him about it he said oh the price changed im like why didn't you change it on the menu. This place sucks I was hoping it changed the cashiers are mean a drinks taste like poop.
