I really like this neighborhood—I used to live not far from Liberty Avenue. This was actually my second time visiting this pizza shop. The first time, the pizza was pretty good, but today was a completely different experience.
The staff were kind and friendly, but it was frustrating to have to ask multiple times for basic things like napkins, straws, and plates, which should have been provided with the pizza and drinks.
I ordered two plain slices, a buffalo chicken slice, and a mushroom and pepperoni slice. Unfortunately, the mushroom and pepperoni slice was so oily and tasteless that it was inedible—I ended up throwing it out even though I was really hungry. The plain slices I gave to my kids weren’t much better; they filled them up, but the flavor just wasn’t there.

I ordered a lunch special, and when my food was ready the guy working called me over by saying “HEY COME HERE” and I gave him my money in his HAND and I received my change thrown back on the counter. And when I asked him why I’m being charged almost a dollar more than my five dollar item, he replies “TAXES”… IN WHAT WORLD DO THEY TAX THAT MUCH???
