Armando's Pollo Rico — Restaurant in New York

I have always gone here for the past eight years my family my friends every time someone comes to visits the states we always go here , I’ve never really had an issue UNTIL NOW READ THIS BEFORE TAKING THE 50/50 CHANCE for the past six months it has been terribly disgusting the food has been cold the directions given apparently to the driver have been outrageous. I decided after the last incident in regards to the delivery problem of the wrong address and also not having change for 100 After informing them I needed change for 100, that it wasn’t a big deal because I had my credit card and I just paid over the phone. I let that go. Second one , was missing items OK now today was unacceptable I received my order cold I received my order two hours and a half late from when I called in !!!! I only heard excuses from each one/ the owner, the delivery guy no one took blame for what they did they kept blaming it on each other. When I got the order I saw It was smashed up It was a different delivery guy from whom we had spoken to over the phone. I paid him and then I took a very close look at my order I opened the bag everything was completely smashed and frozen cold and it’s not even cold outside I open the soda and it was completely shaken it sprayed everywhere and when it sprays like that someone purposely shock the soda to a point that it would bust open like that there was literally no soda left inside that 2 Liter bottle because that’s how badly they had shaken he soda, this explains why my order took two hours and a half late, I will Not be going to this place again Nor will my family and that is a lot ! American Spanish Indian all types of us!! Some of my family members know the owner personally they will not be going to this place again, As they had to call the owner and spoke to them in Spanish so he could be aware of who is ordering but at that point it was beyond return!!!! so it’s very disappointing to say but they just lost a lot of business!!! Been a client of this restaurant for many, many years and for the past year I’ve been noticing how it’s declining; the food is not good in quality or how is cooked, the service is awful and the restaurant looks filthy and unkept. I gave one las chance tonight, when I ordered food to pick up. When I got home and I opened my order, surprise! I ordered half of a chicken with yuca. The chicken looked the size of a quail. Contacted the restaurant to complaint about the disrespect and no apologies was given or accommodations to my order. Instead, they sent their poor delivery man to pick up the order all the way to Ozone Park/Howard Beach. It was preferred to drive half hour to pick up the food, than to accommodate a client by bringing another order or offering a meal. These are the things that are bringing business down. We, as customers, understand the hardships our economy is undergoing and we are trying to support our local business, but we also deserve respect, quality and good service from our patrons to make our efforts worth. Horrible place to go. Do not go!!!! If i could give a 0 i would. The food is disgusting. I have never had an experience where I couldn't even eat the food because it was so bad. I had "parihuela" (one of my favorite soups). I honestly tried but after the 3rd bite I couldn't get myself to eat it. When I asked to have it changed for something else. I was given a hard time about it. Then when I got the chicken thinking it would be good. It wasn't, not even the salad was good. The fries were okay. I asked a refund and that I would pay for the quarter of chicken and drink. I told that's $9 when in the menu it said 6.99. But w.e they would not refund. They gave me half a chicken with no dries or salad for exchange of the other $13 I paid because my card was charged 22 for the soup. I said thank you but received no answer back. Very rude. The service sucks as the waitress was on the phone talking to a family member about gossip while I was there and other customers around me.
