Some of the worst food I've ever had [not actually curry but also cold and LOADED with sugar]the vibe was that they were trying to squeeze money out of us.
I got the non-veg lunch special that comes with naan. The waitress never mentioned garlic naan as an option when I ordered so by default, I got the "naan". After, my friend ordered she asked him if she wanted garlic or plain naan, to which he mentioned hed like the plain. At that point, oh actually, could I get the garlic naan? She laughed quietly and said sure. We get an extra plate of naan, realizing that she had took my "garlic naan"[instead] as [also]. Also, the food made me and friends feel heavy and my friend experienced digestive problems here. My food was not good. They didn't have samosas (despite the woman not telling us this when we ordered, and it's like like it changed quickly over time bc there was pretty much only us in the restaurant). The food The chicken jalfrezi curry was so sad; instead of curry, it was fried chicken with like, spiceless tomato sauce but WITH SUGAR. The jalfrezi, a curry with meat and vegetables, was more like tomato sauce covered fried chicken with like 3 onion slicez; such a shame. We asked for water, by default the woman brought us bottled water, and then huffed when we asked if there was any tap water we could have instead -- ahem, the cost of our would-drink tap water is negligible, but creates a sour customer experience. The lentil soup - I didn't see a SINGLE lentil.
I normally do not write reviews unless a place is very good, or very bad, and this place is a candidate for Kitchen...
ย ย ย Read moreI thought i am going to a good restaurant for a good food. I ordered chicken korma and naan, and i sat on the table, in literally 2-3 minuts the food was on my table, ๐.. i was served in a plastic tray with plastic cutlery packed in plastic, no plate no bowl, hmmmm ๐ค๐ค i was not served water which is the first thing you serve to you guest, well anyway, so the chicken korma that i ordered did not taste like korma at all, now i can tell cz i myself is an indian. So i can tell the taste. Horrible, i eat half of it and just could not eat anymore. So i thought lets order some gulab jamun as i have a habbit of eating some sweet after dinner. For sure i got the gulab jamun in a plastic container. You got to be kidding me...๐ as you see in the picture that gulab jamun tasted like charcoal and again i just couldn't eat charcoal in the name gulab jamun. So i got curious why the food doesn't taste you know indian? So by saying so i asked the guy on the counter, where are you from in India. He replied, he is from Bangladesh. Aaahaaaaaa.... now i get it. Not that i am againts that but that makes all the sense. So if you want the Indian taste this is definitely not the place to go to.. good...
