You look at a burger place and expect to get your average patty and bread with the occasional restaurant "unique" twist. That's all good and fine for someone who's willing to pay upwards of $18 for what's essentially every other wanna be on tv burger you're gonna find in Manhattan. Burger World is the slap in the face every burger joint needs. For half the price Your gonna get a burger that makes you think about how you spend your money to ENJOY food.
This business runs with the purpose of quality and sustainable practices that force an elevation of the food to keep afloat. Your walking in with expectations of an ok burger and decent fries but you leave with satisfaction that's felt both in your stomach and your wallet. During these economic times the need for budgeting and decreasing the amount of money spent eating out. That's what Burger world seeks to bring to the table with its price and portion size.
Another important aspect of business besides customer satisfaction and quality of product is the character. If your lucky, you get to meet the owner of the establishment. A Bangladeshi man with a dream of franchising, this businessman doesn't need a suit to make an impression. He makes an effort to make the customer comfortable and is passionate about the business.
Compared to another fairly popular craft burger spot, I felt like a customer that was wanted. How can you expect someone to pay $17 for a decent burger with a tip when the service wasn't even human. I walk into this other place and get told to sit and order, hardly see the waiter or busser, and it felt like there wasn't even a reason to be a sit in establishment.
Looking at these two places you see what makes Burger World worth your investment, both in a customer and business relationship. If you want a mundane experience at another craft burger bar that uses its pretty good decoration and "unique" food for a wallet starving price then ignore the obvious winner of the best new era New York burger.

Read moreThe online menu was deceiving and the food looked nothing like the advertised pictures. Our burgers were bland and we received rude customer service.
We ordered Spicy Crispy chicken sandwiches but we were disappointed as the chicken was not spicy nor crispy. the burger had three small thin slices of deli chicken meat. The buns were not fresh, they broke with the touch of hand. Fries were very oily and flavorless , we wanted to add salt to rectify them except there was no salt available.
My main complaint though was with the server/owner. first you have to understand that this place is tiny, hade two tables where we had to sit shoulder to shoulder with other guests. The server placed our food on the table with no napkins, no ketchup and no straws(we ordered smoothies too). I asked him if we could have some napkins please. he waved to the only other table where there was a box of napkins available to the other customers and walked away without saying a word!
Not only I had to invade the other table and reach out over the other customers food to get the napkins, but I also had to ask two other people to get off their seats so I can maneuver my way to get to the napkins. So much hassle and disruptions to all customers that could have been avoided if he simply passed the napkin box to our table or provided napkins for each of the table which is the more practical thing to do.

Read moreBurger was so amazing. They give you a big patty. I ordered it medium rare pink perfectly in the middle with onions, tomato and pickles. All ingredients were very fresh. I don't like pickles but theirs were really crunchy and so fresh.
Just making a note they do not put msg in their food which makes this a great place for people who are sensitive.
The fried shrimp was so fresh and crispy with fresh ingredients as well.
The garlic fries are so crispy and one of the best fries I have had. These have salt but not too much. Just enough. Highly recommend
I ordered the regular fries and they are very fresh and delicious too.
I ordered the vegetable pasta without soy sauce and again very fresh ingredients. It was better than I expected. Also recommend this dish too.
I ordered the grilled chicken oregano (they use fresh oregano not dried) dish and it was also great spiced really well. The rice was light and fluffy. Cooked perfectly and the salad came with chick peas as well. Great dish. The Greek tzatziki (yogurt sauce) is authentically Greek. They make it with fresh oregano and garlic. I love this sauce.
I am adding to my review. I had the meatball dish. It was like my mothers. Again fresh ingredients and spices with an amazing rich tomato sauce with a hint of spiciness to it. Btw it is gluten free. Major plus.
I can not say enough about this little place. The price is really great considering food cost these days. It will be my go to...
