Always enjoy coming to Theatre Row . I love the intimacy of the shows and there never seems to be a bad seat in the house . They have a nice refreshments area where you can sit and hang out some before or after the show . The building is also very accessible to everyone . I saw a variety of people using walkers , wheelchairs & canes maneuvering around the space easily . The staff that works here is also very nice .

Read moreI traveled two hours from Connecticut to see Owen & Mzee with my two year old daughter. There is a theater policy that children, beginning at age 2 must show a negative COVID test. When informed of this fact, I was told there was a van outside that was performing such tests (I know what you're thinking, this doesn't sound odd at all). I was told that the policy was on my purchase confirmation email. I pulled up my email and it was not. I was then told it was on my ticket, so I pulled that up too and it was not. Finally I was told the truth: it was on the website. I went back to the website and double checked and it was there, although I question when it placed there. However, it is possible that I overlooked it, considering I have never been asked that my daughter receive a COVID test. I had to express that I was not comfortable with the idea of taking my daughter anywhere outside of her pediatric office for medical attention. Unfortunately, I was unable to see the show or be reimbursed for the gas and tolls for my trip. I have never went ANYWHERE in the world during this pandemic where my two year old needed to be tested for COVID in order to gain entry to an event. I have seen the Lion King on Broadway and they do not have such a policy. You would think a theater off Broadway with much less people traffic would not have something like this in place. Considering the fact that this theater houses off- Broadway shows that cater to an audience between 2-7, you would also think this policy would be very clear and explicit everywhere so that it is not overlooked, as opposed to nestled in with the usual COVID policies that we have all become accustomed to. I wonder how many parents of toddlers comply, especially those visiting New York with...
Read moreWould give more stars if I could! Brought my daughter to see Winnie the Pooh this past weekend and it was wonderful - great theater, convenient location, friendly staff, and a great show.
But the real reason I'm writing this review is to thank the staff for being so accommodating. My mother had purchased VIP tickets as a special treat for my daughter (who is not quite three and loves Winnie the Pooh). Fifteen minutes before we had to get on the train from White Plains, my daughter started throwing up. Though she was feeling better within an hour or two, we had to miss the show.
We reached out to the theater by email not knowing if anyone would even respond on a Saturday morning and we got a response within a few minutes. The staff worked with us to transfer our tickets to the next day. Since there were no VIP tickets available, they even refunded the difference in ticket price. Though we were bummed that my daughter didn't get to meet the characters after the show, we were so thrilled and thankful to get to see the show. On the day, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and the venue is great. We'll definitely be...
