Ava's Lifeline — Restaurant in New York

So this is what we were able to savor for a photo of as we devoured the rest of the Mini's. After being recommended Ava's for tasty vegan treats I (as a fledgling nubee and skeptic) decided to stop by while in the area. I had the great pleasure of being serviced by the Owner Ava. After eluding to my skepticism towards flavorful VEGAN desserts she nudged my purchase in front of me said " I don't want to toot my own horn, so try these and tell me whT your wife and you think". I go here from time to time for a little treat for myself. Every time I go is always a delight. I always get a carrot cake. They’re cute, the icing on top is in the shape of a carrot. Speaking of the icing, it has to be my FAVORITE part. The icing is sweet, and it has an ever so slight salty-ness to it that just brings out all those good flavors. The cake is always the perfect texture, never dry, and it isn’t crazy sweet so it balances out the icing really well. I'm on a trip passing through NYC and found out about this place from Tiktok. Absolutely worth it; we had the strawberry cupcake, lemon loaf, and 2 regular coffees. Not only was the price incredible but the food was moist, freshly baked, and the flavors were extraordinary. I'm not personally vegan myself, but I genuinely would not be able to tell the difference if no one told me these were. Ava herself was extremely welcoming and the atmosphere was very comfortable.
