Bay Bagels — Restaurant in New York

Called in to place order over phone, phone rings a few rings then disconnects, called again someone picks up rudely, I place an order for pickup, takes the order, but rudely tells me they are very busy and will take 20-25 min for my order to be ready. I go after that time to pick up my order. I come in and there are only 2 other customers in the store. The lady in at the register asks me for my order, I tell her I have a pick up, looks at me strangely, and asks other workers, says no one ever got a pick up order here and proceeds to help other customers, doesn’t give me any resolution to the issue. Then someone else tells me we don’t have any calls for this, and that maybe someone took it and forgot. There is a staff of like 5 people and barely any customers, or orders, don’t know how they botch a simple order like that. There are other good bagel places in Brooklyn that have lines out the door, with less employees that are more on point. Also they are overpriced, and the food is nothing special at all. First and last time...

I call and place order for pickup at least once a week. Every time I call I get an attitude and am rushed off the phone. Today my order was completely wrong after there was an encounter in the store because I wanted to add a sandwich. I call up to tell them and they then tell me that they will deliver the right food. The delivery guy comes and wouldn't give me the correct order until I gave him the wrong food back because the boss said he wants to check the camera to make sure I'm not lying. I gave him back the wrong food and let them keep the delivery with the "correct" food as well. Never again will I be ordering from here after being...

Buyer beware! This place is charging $9.50 for a chicken salad sandwich. $ 12.50 for a chicken salad sandwich with bacon. I thought this was a mistake so I called for clarification, the clerk told me that the menus online are old and the normal price is $8 for a chicken salad sandwich. I asked to speak to a manager because that is extremely overpriced and on the boundary of price gouging. The clerk hung up on me and before he did so he said “hold on.”

The food is not worth the price. We will never be ordering from them again. My next step is to alert the city about this obvious price gouging.
