Food is good, but the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL! They have officially lost a loyal customer!! I picked up an order last night and didn't realize they left food (lobster tails) out of my order until 2 hours later when I reached home. I called the restaurant the next day and informed them. I was put on hold and then someone by the name Renee picked up. I then informed her that the lobster tails were left out of my order and she then asked why didn't I call last night and I said you were closed by the time I realized. She then asked why didn't I call in the morning as if she is implying I'm lying. (Great start to the conversation) So finally I think she believes me and asks if I'm coming today for it and I tell her I live in CT so I won't be able to come until next weekend. I then ask if maybe they can write my name down and I pick it up then. She then tells me they can't in her words "put it down" for me that long and basically tells me to send someone for it. I informed her I don't have anyone to pick it up for me. She then becomes even ruder telling me that's the policy they can't "put it down" more than one day. She completely stopped trying to work with me and tells me the General Manager, Sparkle will tell me the same thing. After the very unprofessional exchange with Renee, I finally came to the conclusion that I will not be getting the lobster tails I paid for. I then ask Renee for her full name and she refused. I then ask her for her job title and she tells me she doesn't have to tell me that either. I understand not wanting to tell me your 1st name, but why not your job title? This conversation was completely not what I expected. They always say support Black owned businesses, but look how unprofessionally I was treated for their mistake. In the past other restaurants have left items out of my order and I have contacted them and the conversations have gone completely different. They admitted their mistake, worked with me, and didn't accuse me of lying. You are supposed to make your customers happy, not argue with them. I will never patronize this restaurant...

After the order went through i received a call from the restaurant saying they didn't have any spinach and would i like to replace it with something else, so i proceeded to pick the yams. When my food finally arrived it was around 11:38 pm (and they close at 11) the driver quickly gave me my food and left. When i got inside my yams that should of been replaced for the spinach was not there. I called the restaurant multiple times but they were closed so i couldn't do anything but wait for the next day. Next day comes along and i call in the afternoon to see about my recent order, and they told me to get in contact with grubhub to get a refund after i explained what happen. Mind you i did not want a refund, i only wanted what i ordered. The employee who answered was talking in circles until she finally put her manager on the phone. The manager told me the same thing and i told her all i wanted was the yams. She expressed that they only have one driver and "might" get the yams to me until later that day. I asked why isnt it certain especially when i already paid for it the previous day (thinking they would make my order priority), but then she started to tell me the same as the first employee about refunds. I was adamant about just wanting the yams and they said Ok(without taking my number, address, or any information at that). I'v been calling back since then and have not received a call back or my food that i paid for. So not only did they rob me of my money and ignore my calls, but they also lied to comfort me in the interim. I would like to say this was a horrible experience. Today, in fact 2 minutes ago, at 11:57 am I called the restaurant to ask about their lunch specials. I know they have some and figured I could call, hear the specials and place a pick up order. I believe I met the person on the phone when I was there in person and from that experience I just never really wanted to interact with this type of individual again because I could tell she had better things to do. But of course I sadly had to speak to her upon calling.
When I asked a question of what meals were offered for the lunch special she rattled them off as if she knew I had no intention of ordering, even though I actually did. That's not where the individual's customer services skills tanked, they tanked when I asked what where the sides associated with the small chicken dinner, to which she told me "nothing cold and no fries." Cool fine "What is offered" I asked to which I was instructed to visit their website to see the list of sides.
She couldn't rattle off the sides like she did the entrees? How long would it had really taken to answer the question? Were they busy? If they were why not pleasently place me on a brief hold? Why you ask? Because these ghetto individuals have little to no training in the basics of customer service.
Clearly my monies will be appreciated elsewhere because I won't be patronizing them any longer until they train their staff better. You can't be rude and work with the public. The two don't...
