Overall Experience: Good with room for improvement

What We Ordered: Butter chicken Lamb saag Goat biryani

Lamb saag was absolutely delicious — perfectly prepared and seasoned.

Service was outstanding. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and kind throughout our visit. A++

Butter chicken: While flavorful, it was overly buttery. The chicken pieces were also too large — smaller cuts would make it easier to eat. Also felt like there was almost too much meat relative to sauce.

Goat biryani: Very flavorful but too salty. Since diners can always add salt, I'd suggest reducing it slightly. Like the butter chicken, this dish was packed with meat — so much that it was actually difficult to get a spoonful of just rice.

The bone-in preparation is traditional and I understand many prefer it for tenderness, though I personally prefer deboned for easier eating.

Note About Management

The restaurant appears to have new management recently (mentioned on menu pamphlets, and we saw staff putting up new artwork during our visit). This means previous reviews may not reflect the current experience.

Would I return? Yes, especially for that lamb saag and the excellent service. With some minor adjustments to seasoning and portion balance, this place could be...

Kitchen Grill Indian Restaurant is a go-to spot for delicious, authentic Indian food. One of the highlights is being able to choose your spice level, so whether you prefer mild or spicy, you'll find something just right. Their lunch special box is a great deal--affordable and satisfying, with two curries of your choice, rice, and naan. There's a wide selection, including plenty of vegetarian options, as well as meat and seafood dishes. And don't leave without trying the mango lassi--OMG, it's so smooth and delicious you'll want to order another one right away!

What truly makes the experience special is the service. Samiya, one of the staff members, is always so kind and generous. She greets everyone with a warm smile, answers all your questions, and gives excellent recommendations that never disappoint. She's helped us many times and always makes the visit more enjoyable.

If you're looking for flavorful Indian cuisine and friendly, welcoming service, Kitchen Grill is the place to go. Thanks, Samiya! We'll definitely...

It is located at Clinton Hill area of Brooklyn, and it is by the subway station.

This restauirant was recommended by some of my friends. This was my second visit to any Indian restaurant in New York, so, I asked my friends to order food for us. I was thrilled.

The service was friendly and casual. Place was small but clean.

Foods there were all very Indian-like exotic spicy tastes to me. It took me a while for adjusting my tsate pallet there for the new flavors there. I really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala. Also I loved the amazingly refreshing sweet rice pudding (kheer) for ending the big dinner there.

My Indian friend (recently naturalized immigrant) among us told that these are very authentic tastes and price is very reasonable for what we had compared to other Indian rstaurants he visited.

I usually do not go any restaurants, which do not searve any seafoods. For me it was an adventurous new educational food experience. If you have never been to any Indian restaurants, I recommend you go this place...

I really liked the cauliflower Manchurian appetizer. It is hard to describe what it did to my taste palate. It is nicely battered so the outside was crunchy without too much breading. The cauliflower inside was tender. Nicely seasoned. I thought maybe to my eyes the portion sizes were small, but my tummy thinks otherwise. I felt pretty stuffed and even had to take the rest to go. The service was pretty timely. I also ordered the chicken spinach dish and liked the thin julienned slivers of ginger garnish. The chicken was on pointe, tender and tasty. The mango lassi drink was good. The garlic naan was good as well that I wish the portion for that was larger. I would come back for more!

I went here with my friend L**a for dinner after a long day of work on the farm. We ordered from the very large vegetarian selection—paneer saag, plain naan, peshwari naan, mango lassi, samosa chaat, and papri chaat. Maybe too much food for two but it was that kind of day. Samosa chaat was nice, I think it’s a great size for 2 & the papri chaat is similar in size and flavor profile. Saag paneer always hits, it was very creamy and thick. Went well with the naan that was incredibly fresh. The service was prompt and our waitress was very kind. Someone even tried to set her up with their son! She handled it with grace. Would come here again! Definitely give it a try.
