Overall Experience: Good with room for improvement
What We Ordered: Butter chicken Lamb saag Goat biryani
Lamb saag was absolutely delicious — perfectly prepared and seasoned.
Service was outstanding. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and kind throughout our visit. A++
Butter chicken: While flavorful, it was overly buttery. The chicken pieces were also too large — smaller cuts would make it easier to eat. Also felt like there was almost too much meat relative to sauce.
Goat biryani: Very flavorful but too salty. Since diners can always add salt, I'd suggest reducing it slightly. Like the butter chicken, this dish was packed with meat — so much that it was actually difficult to get a spoonful of just rice.
The bone-in preparation is traditional and I understand many prefer it for tenderness, though I personally prefer deboned for easier eating.
Note About Management
The restaurant appears to have new management recently (mentioned on menu pamphlets, and we saw staff putting up new artwork during our visit). This means previous reviews may not reflect the current experience.
Would I return? Yes, especially for that lamb saag and the excellent service. With some minor adjustments to seasoning and portion balance, this place could be...

This restauirant was recommended by some of my friends. This was my second visit to any Indian restaurant in New York, so, I asked my friends to order food for us. I was thrilled.
The service was friendly and casual. Place was small but clean.
Foods there were all very Indian-like exotic spicy tastes to me. It took me a while for adjusting my tsate pallet there for the new flavors there. I really enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala. Also I loved the amazingly refreshing sweet rice pudding (kheer) for ending the big dinner there.
My Indian friend (recently naturalized immigrant) among us told that these are very authentic tastes and price is very reasonable for what we had compared to other Indian rstaurants he visited.
I usually do not go any restaurants, which do not searve any seafoods. For me it was an adventurous new educational food experience. If you have never been to any Indian restaurants, I recommend you go this place...
