I was pleasantly surprised, when I entered, by the decor, the fabric on the walls and ceiling. The lighting was perfect. It gave me a cozy and warm feeling. The staff I encountered was very pleasant and helpful with explaining some items on the menu. The food was pleasing to the eye and my taste buds were not disappointed. That Baba Ghanoush was absolutely delicious and bread that accompanied it was perfect. Hubby had the Shrimp Pizza and was blown away by the texture, and taste. He kept talking about the generous amount of shrimp on the pizza. After the mealn we used the restroom and it was nice and clean with some interesting art on the walls. There's also handle bars for those who need it. In all it was a really wonderful experience. We're still talking about this place. It's a very short walk from the Movie Theater thus making it an excellent place to have a meal before or after your show or your walk to the park ( Prospect Park is a stone throw away) or after service since a church is across the street. I saw some guests order plates that came with heaping amount of lamb. I may try that next. The waiter was really friendly and kept the water full. He told us it's BYOB so for those who'd love to it's a cozy slice Mediterranean Heaven in Brooklyn....

Enjoyed a quick bite. Was invited to sit and chat with a guest who.loved hot homemade peppers sauce.

As we chatter her lamb sharia arrived. She is a regular for this dish. I ordered the falafel sandwich..minus tomatoes.

A third guest was ordering...he had wine...a bread basket and hummus...

We all ate heartily. The cover back garden was clean and the water fou tains added ambiance.

I love spicy food that is well seaaoned...would have love to have more spices and a bit of hot pepper in my falafel. A complimentary glass of mint tea was presented as I chatted with the other guest who invited.me to sit and dine ...when I was just thinking about a take.out..

We chatted about world travels.

I was.in the area to visit a new vintage boutique..GIRLS.NEXT DOOR. While I wander around and found bedawi Cafe...

Week day happy hour specials. Owner stated meats are grilled. Thus falafel is not cooked in the same.oils as fish and protein.

Good vegan and vegetarian options.

Handicapped accessible except.for steps.to back yard.. Seating on sidewalk.. Good place.for a quick vegan bite. And takeout...

For my birthday I wanted to try somewhere I had not been but that had been on my to try list and Bedawi fit the bill! Having fallen in love with Arabic food in Jerusalem many years ago, I am picky about where I eat it. Bedwai did not disappoint!

We ordered a Merguez (ground lamb) Platter and a Chicken Platter. Both the lamb and the chicken were perfectly grilled and flavorfully seasoned. The accompanying baba ghanouj was exceptional and the warm, freshly baked Jordanian style pita bread sealed the deal!

The cafe is small and nicely decorated giving patrons, along with the arabic music being played, a sense of being in the middle east. Portions are generous and prices very fair. Highly recommend but get there at an off hour because they...
