Rude and overpriced! I’m a macchiato girl, live in the neighborhood and thought I’d give this “new” establishment a go… they didn’t have my coffee preference prized on the wall (macchiato) and when the owner told the cashier to charge it as a latte, I intercepted with a tip of what macchiato is usually prized giving the across the street price as an example ( after all I’d be happy to become a regular but this is my regular order and thought they should know it’s never same price as latte) instead I was replied with rudeness and dismissive comments like “well our ice coffee is $… and this is a black own business so you should pay whatever the price is to support it… 😅 anyway, for the vegan pattie and smoothie lovers - this establishment seems to be a gem :-) so I’m happy they are here. I usually just go in to get the pumpkin patty. But this morning I decided to do a grubhub order and I was not happy at all. I ordered a fish patty, chicken patty, and oxtail patty and 2 açaí bowls. $10 for a bitter banana bowl is not ok. Patties are overpriced pastries with barely any filling. Açaí bowls were TRASH. Açaí smoothie tasted like pure banana. The mangos were hard as rocks and bitter. The strawberries were soggy and thin. None of the fruit was sweet. The granola oatmeal mix turned soggy instantly. I’ve had better for $6.99. Never again. They’re surviving because people think “healthy” means high priced and it doesn’t. But they won’t get my money again. These are a people who are cheap to themselves so why would they care about that bitter banana bowl...

I don’t write reviews often, but when I do it’s because I’m really impressed. When I tell you, I really love this small, clean and super cozy cafè! The juices and smoothies are amazing. I tried the feta and cheese croissant this morning — SO good! The employees here are always so warm and friendly. Always!

There’s a young lady who works here usually in the mornings and whenever I drop by (which is often) she always greets me with a smile and she’s so pleasant. It really makes my day to be treated so warmly first thing in the morning.
